Ciao Bologna Collection - San Martino

Top top top locatie, comfortabel bed, mooie ruime kamer

Modern chic interiors, spotless, lovely peaceful stay even though you're in the centre!

Struggle with big bags, old person would really find that hard. Also, would have liked a folder with recommendations and what to do / eat / see in the City in a day or more

The property was lovely and central to everything. It has a nice clean modern feel and environment.

We arrived on Saturday evening for a four night stay coming off a 5 hour train from Puglia. Once we navigated the somewhat tricky multiple door remote access (which was fine) — we showered. The entire room was clean and lovey BUT the bathroom (which was also clean and lovely) - is a room with no window and no natural light. It has one mirror (smoked glass) with two lights on either side of the mirror. The room also gas decorative lighting (not task) around the perimeter of the room - 8 feet up. One of the only light bulbs was missing from the light fixture next to the mirror and therefore made seeing your face very difficult - dark. We immediately reached out to the manager on call (GIO) and he told us that there was absolutely no way that he could get it taken care of until sometime on Monday because it was a special bulb and needed a ‘technician’ and that he could not buy a bulb because everything would be closed until Monday. Bear in mind it was Saturday so GIO expected us to be without light until Monday and this was their business —- hospitality. We nearly believed him - BUT upon further investigation by us we saw that it was a regular bulb, that was never replaced. We even asked where we could buy one. Suffice to say that it was only after pushing back HARD on them that we were able to get someone other than GIO to respond to us and they said they had the bulbs in the warehouse… and they got it to us on Sunday am, where we were able to put the light bulb in the fixture. My point here is that we felt somewhat fibbed to for lack of wanting to go the extra mile …. If you can call a light bulb the extra mile. It was all okay and lovely in the end but that experience didn’t have to happen. Especially since the room was left with an issue.
