It was in a fantastic location and property was clean & bed was comfortable

Sooooo quiet...great location for the sea,high street,shops, restaurants and pubs..but you wouldn't know you were just a short walk away. Shared kitchen,with two microwaves,and gas cooker/oven etc.. Dining/chilling area.Coffee,sugar,milk and tea in kitchen,rather than room. Fridge in room. Great value, comfortable bed.

Lack of good pressure/flow on shower .. No privacy in the room,unless you shut the curtains (ground floor,on terraced street). Some marks here and there,but otherwise clean.

Very convenient location, in town centre. Easily walkable from train station.

Bit confused about the door codes. One for an external lock box containing front door key, another on entry to the room. I confused one with the other, but perhaps that’s me being thick. The codes were received in good time by email. Also, no toiletries provided, so a quick purchase of shampoo was required from a shop around the corner.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise von London nach Schottland und suchten nur eine Platz zum Schlafen für eine Nacht. Für unsere Zwecke war es vollkommen ausreichend. Check-in war sehr unkompliziert per Schlüssel Box und auf Fragen, wurde direkt reagiert. Sauberkeit war ok und alles nötige war vorhanden.

Für eine längeren Aufenthalt fehlte etwas die Liebe zum Detail. So gab es zum Beispiel nicht einmal Handseife zum Hände waschen, die Einrichtung war etwas sporadisch und der Heizung fehlte ein eigenes Thermostat, um die Temperatur zu steuern. Die Zimmer sind Teil eines klassischen englischen Wohnhauses, eigentlich sehr authentisch. Allerdings war unser Zimmer das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zur Straße mit großem Fenster. Wenn man nicht von außen gesehen werden will, muss man also permanent die lichtdichten Vorhänge schließen. Für eine Nacht vollkommen fein, auf Dauer wahrscheinlich eher unpraktisch.
