Bell Tent 2

We loved the bed, it was very comfy and also the kettle was a bonus. There was no shower which the owner let us know beforehand and we accepted that as we were offered to use their bathroom, which we didn't. The toilet was provided.

It was very difficult to find it, there was no signpost. We only found it following the instructions from one of the neighbours. The price was too high for the offered facilities I would pay a maximum of £50.

Nothing

First off.. it took 45 minutes to find the property.. there was no direct signs to the campsite. The road when we got there was full of deep potholes, big stones.. you’d need a 4x4 to get down the track.. we tried calling the host several times and there was no answer, once we had pulled up the host came out with his phone in his hand, took us down the to the bell tent, he’d left all the windows open and the inside was soaked, he didn’t even apologise for this.. the bed was sat on tiny wooden slacks to keep the bed level.. the cutlery was dirty, the water bottle looked like it had been used multiple times and the water didn’t look fresh from that day.. the heating and electric wasn’t working.. when I went to go book this place, it had no photos of the inside, considering it was “glamping” we’d expected something better.. after leaving straight away, we was looking to book somewhere else and when I went back onto the booking, the photos of the inside had miraculously appeared! You also was only allowed to park directly next to the tent if you was staying.. not coming and going.. the showers had stopped working too, so I had an email from them to say that the only working shower was in their place.. and there was a portaloo that me and the neighbours would’ve had to use. There was another couple that had just turned up in their BMW and they couldn’t even get down the track.. they also went and booked somewhere else to stay. Safe to say we would not be returning to this place ever again!
