Sensor light in the hall went on & off all the time & if you were a nervous driver the drive down to the house is very steep and narrow

The house is light and airy and very clean with everything provided.

We slept in the second bedroom. The pillows were hard, but obviously that's just down to personal preference!

Lovely, comfortable, home from home

The home was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Lily meet us and was extremely friendly and kind. The scones were a lovely idea and we enjoyed them sitting in the garden. The location was perfect for where we wanted to visit for the few days we were there

Our host was very friendly and helpful and we knew how to contact her if we needed. The house was spacious and extremely well furnished with high quality goods. It was well decorated and was prepared to make you feel very welcome and comfortable. The cream tea prepared in the fridge was a delightful and delicious welcome! The range of kitchen equipment was excellent too. Lily had thought of everything! We throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful house - so comfortable. We wished we had booked for longer!!

Actually we loved EVERYTHIHNG! Lily, our host made the house so warm and welcoming including lots of little welcoming extras like having the dinner table all set, with a welcome drink. We then went to the fridge only to find that Lily had made beautiful cream and jam scones for us - completely unrequested!

Too many cushions on the bed 8 on double bed, All 10 pillows on the 3 beds were very hard had to go out and buy 2 soft ones Beds too hard for me all firm. Veiw is of a tower block. There is a smell of damp as you enter the house. Mould around shower tray. The oven smells and there was food left on the oven tray from previous user.

The house was very well presented and located in a quiet residential area. On arrival we found a warm welcome message and the property offered everything we needed. The possibility to accommodate our bicycles was an additional plus.

Wonderful property with everything you need!

It was just as shown in the pictures, if not even better! The location was amazing - a short drive from the Eden project and the beautiful carlyon bay beach. Lily was a wonderful host and couldn’t have done more for us. The cream tea and birthday decorations were a lovely surprise. Everything was very clean and the whole house was beautiful. We were truly blown away!

The perfect retreat to explore Cornwall.

Wow! What a beautiful house. Lily is an amazing host, felt relaxed and welcomed straight from the start. We even met the boys who are extremely polite and respectful. Personal touches all over the house and you will struggle to find a better place to stay. We will be back.

PHENOMENAL HOST AND PLACE TO STAY

Lilys property was unbelievably clean, organised, stylish. We arrived and were greeted by the best hostess with a big smile and warm welcome, she even made us all a scone each free of charge and left them for us on arrival. It was absolutely amazing and we are sad we only stayed for one night. When we came back after our dinner we forgot to get some milk and she kindly gave us some of her own. We cannot wait to go back there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms lovely and clean. We couldn’t fault a thing, it was absolutely fantastic

Beautiful place with superb host.

The house was immaculate and had everything in it that you could possibly want plus many extras, the attention to detail was above and beyond. Lily the host was absolutely lovely, so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The little extras she left for us made our stay perfect and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed in. I really can’t recommend Lily and her accommodation highly enough.

Wow, factor! Attention to detail from the host. What a lovely surprise, after a long journey to walk into a beautifully presented home with not only a welcoming table setting including bucksfizz in a champagne bucket but a full on cream tea, scones and nibbles in the fridge and a lovely welcome message. All these and more personal touches really made me smile and gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. The bathrooms were fabulous ,showers easy to use, and the bath! well, if ever there was an Instagram moment ! I will leave you to discover that for yourself .I could have just had my whole holiday in there! I slept so well my bed was perfect. Never have I stayed in a place where around every corner pride has been taken.

No toilet roll holders, bath mats would have been handy, had to use towels to stand on. Bedroom doors all stuck, unable to fully close them. Had a little bit of trouble with front door, inadvertently put on the deadlock and couldn’t release it.

It was very modern, roomy and comfy to stay in, near some supermarkets too. We had a lovely BBQ on site and Lily was very accommodating. Able to ask her any questions if needed. We wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended!

Lovely comfortable house that needs a few little plumbing alterations to make it a 10

The house was very comfortable

The noise that came from pipes which started around 6.30 am each morning , it’s as if someone is running water and the pipes are making a loud vibrating then tapping noise even though everyone was in bed , The taps in main bathroom need adjusted as hot water comes out the cold tap and vice versa this could be nasty if a young kid got scalded . In the second main bedroom the previous renters must of spilt tea or coffee over the wall at the side of the headboard as the wall is all stained and you can see it on the wall where it hasn’t been cleaned up The windows on the outside need a good clean as they are all covered in cobwebs Receiving a gentle reminder to be out for the cleaners coming and asking for a 10 in review 1 st time I’ve had this from an owner
