Hi guys, just don’t book this cabin

Disappointed, disgusted

I had very bad experience, we booked this cabin and when we arrived we saw the cabin not clean, disappointed and toilet outside not clean, we booked another hotel at that time and left that place. Booking.com should do inspection at this kind of properties.

The owner was so drunk and arguing with his staff and made me and my family feel so uncomfortable, the live at the bottom of the cabin and have a man cave there where the owner and his one staff member was getting drunk and arguing with each other it made me feel very unsafe, once the owner had gone to sleep his staff member then came to the cabin to check we was okay but he himself was also very drunk and got into and altercation with my partner , I had to take my daughter way while he continue to argue with my partner about him being a bare knuckle fighter ?? The electric in the cabin kept cutting out and we was left with no electricity There a no washing facilities there , they did email to say if we needed a shower we could use the main house but we kindly refused

Sunny View Cabin has the potential to be outstanding. We enjoyed our stay and would come again! Thank you. Friendly helpful staff. Offered to let us use their shower. Beautiful. Good price. Private. Comfortable. Friendly dogs. Child friendly. Kettle, fridge and microwave in the room.

Poor signage leading to the site led to confusion and difficulties finding it. Road / driveway is very bad and scraped my (small) car on the way in and out of the accomadation. Lack of a sink to wash hands after using toilet or to wash up plates, cups and cutlery. No shower but our host did mention that they were putting a shower in and it is a work in progress.

For anyone wanting something very basic in an absolutely gorgeous setting, it’s perfect.

The cabin is in a beautiful off the track location, with exceptional views and enormous amounts of space at your disposal. There is a double bed, small single sofa bed and all the basics you could need for a couple/ few days (linen, kettle, little fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery). There is also a small bbq and a burner outside too. We travelled with two young children who were more than happy in the space. They had all the space two young boys with a football could possibly want. Things to note are that the toilet facilities are a portaloo and there is no sink, but a standpipe opposite the entrance to the cabin (this didn’t bother us too much though). There are currently no showers on site, but we knew this, and the owners were very generous in offering us the use of the main building one. It takes about 10/15 minutes to get into St Austell from the Cabins location. For anyone wanting something very basic in an absolutely gorgeous setting, it’s perfect.

Fine for camping indoors but check with owner for facilities first.

The host was lovely and helpful. The views and setting were beautiful. Lovely to have a seating area outside and a bench to admire the views.

There were no clear signs to find the site. We had to be directed by a person nearby after a wrong turn. The track up to the property was very very bumpy and scraped the underside of our car so the three passengers had to walk down the track to prevent damage. There was no bathroom - the owner did apologise for this and said the facilities will be in place soon. But this was unhelpful, especially with two girls in need of showers after beach trips. The toilet was a portaloo, this was not outlined in the description and would definitely have put us off booking. It was clean but not for us. The tap was in the field to wash hands etc. The property is described as fully accessible, but there are stairs to climb to get to it. The double bed was fine, but the sofa bed was only a single, not a double as advertised and not comfortable. It is fine if there are three of you and you want to ‘camp’ inside as that is basically what it is. Not what we thought we were going to, so a clearer description would be more helpful. Not much you can do when you are there.

What a beautiful location and such accomodating owners.

really nice staff. view was beautiful. The site is fairly new to the camping/glamping scene. hospitality was brilliant even let me use their hob to make morning coffee in my stove top. The cabin was lovely and the bed was comfortable. If I get the chance I will definitely return to the cabin.

I loved the whole experience. but, the last few 100 meters of road/track is a quite bumpy and there are no showers yet.
