The design is beautiful especially the door - it’s old Balinese style with a temple outside
I left after a couple of nights although was meant to stay for a month. The place is a health and safety hazard. ⚠️ The property holds alot of damp, mould and dust. My eyes, mouth and tongue were itching within a few hours of being in there. The windows have gaps in them and when I asked to cover and fill them they were sealed with plastic and then paper was squashed into the gaps. I also got the most terrible look from the caretaker when I mentioned it. There is nowhere to hang clothes or put clothes and when I mentioned it the owner said he would get me a rail but he didn’t get anything. There is a couple of spoons, no forks, saucepans extremely old and rusty and a very very very rusty old knife which is dangerous - see pictures I tried to sleep the first night and saw a figure at the end of the bed - the energy is off in there. The fridge was filthy - had flies on the light The caretaker will be all smiles when you arrive but if you dare ask for anything his face will drop like thunder - esp if you are a women - extremely sexist vibe Did not feel safe there I spoke politely to the owner about the situation and said I’m leaving and would like a refund of 2 weeks at least. He avoided the conversation and said it was a non refundable booking - yes of course it can be non refundable if the property is in good condition. Just complete lack of humanity here and caused me a lot of upset.
