House of Gods Canary Wharf

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Very clearly newly opened with a young staff who are all keen and very attentive. Special mention to the lovely Rita in reception and the young bar staff who not only waiter but also deliver the room service and cookies whenever requested. They work hard, always have a smile and are genuinely really friendly and chatty. The rooms are well appointed, and the welcome prosecco on ice with some lovely chocolates was very much appreciated after a long journey. The food in the hotel was exceptional, beautiful quality and a wonderful variety of options, both in the sacred garden and for room service. DO try the cocktails and mocktails, they’re delicious.

Although the rooms are well appointed there are no drawers, which meant leaving lingerie on shelves, not exactly the most discreet option when staying for 3 nights. The closet area is also very very dark and some extra lighting inside that area would be much appreciated. My only real concern was that the bathrooms for the bar appear to be in a different postcode to the rest of the hotel haha. You put a cheap and nasty well known chain bar to shame! Multiple corridors, past electric boxes and down some dingy stairs before finally making it to the bathrooms. Had I known it would have been quicker and easier to go back to my room.

Great location, extremely well sound insulated, fab staff

Kitchens close at 9.45pm and no hot food room service

Spacious rooms, good service and a great rooftop bar

Amazing staff very friendly and helpful!

Nothing, it was perfect.
