About this villa rental
Extremely comfortable, modern, south facing villa with lovely views towards the sea. Private, but not isolated countryside location, so a car is necessary.
Shaded parking for 2 cars.
Large private garden with carob, almond and olive trees and a range of flowering shrubs. Private, heated swimming pool with cover. Parasols, sun beds and pool games provided. Pretty shaded outside dining area with lighting for evening dining. Terrace and barbeque area plus wood burning pizza/bread oven. Several well shaded and very comfortable outside seating areas. All outside spaces have lighting for night time use. Perfect for sunny days and long warm evenings spent relaxing over dinner and a glass or two of wine.
All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating and terraces with chairs and tables, ideal for coffee, wine or star gazing.
The sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas, a log burning fire and television. DVD player, Wii and PS3 plus films and games. Free superfast fibre wi-fi.
The dining room seats 8 and has a CD player and a small selection of CDs.
There are two large book cases with a good selection of games and books. A book exchange system is working very well.
Well equipped kitchen with 5-burner gas hob, electric oven and microwave and dishwasher. Filter coffee machine, kettle and citrus press for that lovely freshly squeezed morning glass of orange juice. Plenty of cups, mugs, glasses, plates and cutlery are supplied. Cooking equipment includes large pans, ideal for larger groups.
Utility room with fridge/freezer, drinks cooler and washing machine.
Easy vehicle access to some wonderful restaurants and cafes in nearby Santa Barbara de Nexe, Sao Bras de Alportel and in Estoi. 15 minutes to the amenities of central Faro where there are great restaurants. About 30 minutes to Villamoura with its pretty harbour and many restaurants.
Our central Algarve location gives easy access to the whole Algarve and even Spain!

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa da bica this place really does have everything right from a Smooth check in to all the kitchen facilities you will need , this place has it all , cool boxes for the beech/water park, pool inflatables and a treasure chest of pool toys, great living area indoors and out, plenty of comfortable seating , brilliant bbq/pizza oven , pool area fantastic and plenty umbrellas to escape from the summer sun, in all honesty words could not do this place justice, as stated in previous reviews that this is the best villa to have stayed in we have to agree this is the best , very private and secluded a car would be advised tho the Ubers great in the area. So thank you very much Graham and pat for sharing this villa with us Definitely hope in the future to be back

We loved the outdoor spaces of this villa. There were so many, we didn't even use all the different spaces. The pool is relaxing and private, with lights for night swimming and plenty of floats/pool noodles. The views from the upper balcony, especially at night, are stunning! It was really nice to have umbrellas by the pool and a covered outdoor dining area. There's even a pizza oven, which we did use, and it was great!The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having air-conditioning in each bedroom. The kitchen was also well equipped.We've stayed at many vacation rentals and this place is at the top! It's a great place to spend time as a group, but also have room to each do your own thing. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay again!
