Very private location without vis-à-vis and quiet, ideal for family holidays, on the heights of the small village of Santa Barbara de Nexe, 4 minutes by car from shops, and 8 minutes from Loulé, the former capital of the 'Algarve with its daily covered market.
15 minutes from the beaches, 20 minutes from Vilamoura and the golf courses of Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Faro International Airport is also 15 minutes away and is served by Ryanair from Charleroi, Maastricht, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf and by Brussels Airlines and TAP from Brussels.
The beautiful cities of Lisbon and Seville are 2.5 hours and 2 hours by car respectively.

Idyllic rural location 15 mins drive from Loule. Excellent spot for a Peaceful retreat from the modern world but within 15-30 minute drive of shops, towns, beaches, airport etc and with all important wifi. Check in was simple with detailed information on all aspects of the procedure and the villa supplied in good time by Nicholas. The house was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities required for a great stay. The pool was amazing but durable our stay it was just a bit too cold despite the temperatures being around 25C during the day. There are no restaurants or bars within reasonable walking distance. Beware that the track from the main road to the villa is unpaved and rugged. Careful with the hire car as you usually aren't covered for damage caused off road. It's perfectly safe but drive with care. Grounds and countryside are stunning. We would definitely consider going back for a longer stay.
