Very private location without vis-à-vis and quiet, ideal for family holidays, on the heights of the small village of Santa Barbara de Nexe, 4 minutes by car from shops, and 8 minutes from Loulé, the former capital of the 'Algarve with its daily covered market.
15 minutes from the beaches, 20 minutes from Vilamoura and the golf courses of Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Faro International Airport is also 15 minutes away and is served by Ryanair from Charleroi, Maastricht, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf and by Brussels Airlines and TAP from Brussels.
The beautiful cities of Lisbon and Seville are 2.5 hours and 2 hours by car respectively.

This property is an absolute gem. It felt like you were completely secluded from everything, off the beaten track, but at the same time, you were so close to excellent restaurants, shops and some fabulous places of interest we hadn't even heard of. Highly recommend the Salt Mines in Loule. Faro is so close, we spent a great day in the old town. Communication from Nicolas was excellent and any query answered immediately. The pool area and gardens are glorious, with fruit trees in the garden the kids had some oranges straight from the tree. Would love to go back.

All is very much as it is described. Don’t be put off by the awful access down the last 200m, it is worth it. Overall, this is a tranquil hidden gem.

The indoor- outdoor space was as tranquil and inviting as the photographs suggest. Birds nesting in cypresses, swifts saying hello in the late afternoon. Fantastic location- semi rural, yet 10 minutes drive to Loulé- great supermarket and even better Saturday market in the centre (go early for an easy parking space). 20 mins from Faro, 30mins to Tavira. Nicolas was very responsive with communications and the property guide was accurate and easy to follow. May was the perfect time - and the pool, delicious.
