Absolutely fabulous stay. Chose it for the airport, but it turned into a relaxing experience. Beautiful, cozy villa with great facilities and a lovely pool. Julie is an amazing host, very helpful, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Feels more like a home than a hotel. Highly recommend.

Location Very conveniently located, just a short drive from Faro and the airport. Ideal as a base for day trips in the region. However, there is absolutely nothing to do within a 3 km radius, so don’t expect any nearby cafés, shops, or activities. Important: you definitely need a car to get around comfortably. Value for Money Fair and balanced overall, although there are several issues that significantly impact the experience (see details below). Service and Hospitality Fabiana is kind, welcoming, and clearly does her best to keep everything running. But she is completely on her own: the house, the pool, breakfast, laundry, cleaning, and garden maintenance are all her responsibility. Her effort is admirable, but the workload is far too much for one person. Extra staff would not be a luxury, but a necessity to maintain proper standards in quality, hygiene, and service.

Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location – Not Suitable for Longer Visits We stayed here for 10 nights, which gave us plenty of time to form a clear and honest opinion. While the location is excellent – close to Faro and the airport – this property falls short in many important areas. Occupancy and Privacy Although officially only three rooms are advertised, several families were staying on-site: Fabiana lives in the basement with her two children, and another couple was staying on the lower floor (presumably relatives or friends of the owner). Shared facilities like the kitchen, the downstairs toilet, and the swimming pool were frequently in use, making privacy very limited. Cleanliness Hygiene was below expectations in several areas: • Visible dirt and grime in the living room, kitchen, and pool area • Pool water was stagnant; the skimmer wasn’t turned on until day 6 • Kitchen was unhygienic – oven and microwave were heavily soiled (see photos) • Items from previous guests were left lying around for days Thankfully, no one got sick. We took over 20 photos to document this, but the review system only allows four to be uploaded. Maintenance and Condition of the Property Overall, the house is in poor condition.
