Faro Town House

I had such a lovely stay here, it felt like a home from home which was wonderful as a solo traveller. The guest house has a great location in the city centre so its easy to explore and also get to the train/bus station for day trips. There is a cosy kitchen and roof terrace to relax, and a really lovely breakfast each morning. Daniel was a warm and lovely host and little dog Holly was so cute! I would come back tomorrow, I had such a great time.

The room was very clean and tidy. It had everything you could need for a stay. Yes the evenings could be a little noisy due to location but that was all mentioned prior to booking. Daniel was awesome. Met him on arrival and he explained everything you could want. We didn't see much of him after that due to the schedule we were keeping but he checked in on us daily by text to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything from him. The location allowed access to all the local bars and restaurants. The train station was a 5 minute walk and the local ferries were within 10 minutes. This gave us a great base to explore the local areas. Tavira was a beautiful place a short train ride away with stunning views and a beautiful beach. The closest beach was a €6 uber or a very picturesque 20 minute ferry at €4.20 return. Overall if was a great experience.
