Opus One staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were both lovely - spotless, with loads of storage, luxurious fluffy towels, and well furnished.. The only room downside is that there is no kettle to make your own drinks - however the staff were very accommodating and I'm sure if I'd asked for hot water from the kitchen they would have given it!
Breakfast is lovely; as is the pool area...most of the time we seemed to have both areas to ourselves.
We had a port tasting evening there, which was a great experience.
The hotel is just on the edge of the busy, central area, so it only takes a couple of minutes to walk into the shops and restaurants, but the street is fairly quiet (we could hear the karaoke bar at the hostel next door, but it wasnt too loud and stopped at 11).
It was our first visit to Faro and this was a great base for exploring. We'll be back!

Opus One is exceptional, the quality, care and dedication of the staff shines. We both were speechless entering our room. The pool was very nice to cool off after a hot day. It felt like a luxury hotel, highly recommend it.
