Great space, close location to old town, AC in the room

Stayed for one night, so it was grand. Walking distance to city center and train/bus station. Smooth check in process, no issues with late check in. Property answered my messages fairly quick.

I stayed in room number 1, which is just beside to the front door. People were slamming that door every time they were coming in and out. Be mindful of that if you have a light sleep.

Central and clean, a heater in the room. Extra blankets if needed. Good communication regarding check in.

The room is very small

Easy to find from the train station and fairly central in Faro.

Unfortunately the room felt cold and damp. This was due I know to storms and a lot of rain the previous week, but it didn't change the fact that it made our stay uncomfortable. The beds were cold and damp and it took me a long time to get to sleep as we couldn't work out how to get the heating working. There was a damp patch on the wall where the paint had peeled off and the shared bathroom was not very clean either. The price was low so I should not have had unrealistic expectations, but I think the least the owner could do is ensure the room feels warm when visitors arrive.
