Casa Tierra - Élégance et sérénité en centre-ville

Location was perfect, lively and in the heart of Rouen. Small supermarket opposite, bread shop almost next door and numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. Loved the balcony; very small, but enough to sit out on and soak up the ambience of the neighbourhood. We do not partake of nightlife ourselves, but it was lovely to relax in the evening with the background sound of people chattering and enjoying the restaurants and bars all around. We had delicious dinners at 3 different restaurants all within 3 or 4 minutes walk of the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. It was beneficial, for a party of 4, that the toilet and bathroom were separate, so that no one had to 'cross their legs' wait for someone to come out of the shower!

Very little to say against this place. Small details nothing to do with the host, like the outside street entrance being smelly on the day we arrived and a light sleeper in our party needing ear-plugs to shut out the chattering from bars at bedtime. The building is old and the floor creaks, which was not really a problem, but embarrassing for those of us who had to make several trips to the WC in the night.

Tout était parfait. Propre, élégant. Les propriétaires sont réactifs et à disposition Effectivement la rue est vivante le soir mais l’une des chambres est de l’autre côté et l’isolation est top.

The apartment is located at the very centre of Rouen. Within a 10 minute walk you can reach almost every touristic spot in the city, find restaurants, bars, shops... Literally across the street there is a nice supermarket, and 10 meters of your door a delicious boulangerie. 4 days a week you can also buy some quality food at the beautiful market 50 meters from the house. The apartment is modern and nicely decorated, has a lot of space and on arrival was very clean. The host had even turned on the airconditioning in advance for us, so we arrived in a nice cool house. The kitchen has everything you can wish to cook your own meals, or cover a nice table. The matrassess could have been a little bit more stiff, but that's also a personal preference, the beds were okay, and there is enough space to place your clothes and personal belongings. We left our car during our whole 4 days stay at the Q-Park Palais de Justice, just 8 minutes by foot from the house. We reserved in advance for the full period, and this allows you to left the parking and return to it as frequently as you want. That's ideal if you want to use the car to visit the beautiful surroundigs of Rouen.

If you want to go early to bed and like to sleep with the windows open, you will hear every conversation from the bars and terrace directly in front of the building. If you close the well isolated windows the noise almost disappears, but if you are very sensitive to it, you will still notice.

Es muy amplio y cómodo. Está en una ubicación ideal. Dispone de todo lo necesario para hacer tu estancia muy cómoda.

Realmente me gustó todo aunque el armario de la habitación de las dos camas necesita un poco de orden. También nos dijeron que había aire acondicionado en la casa y lo hay pero no en los dormitorios en los que hay ventiladores.
