Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnstraße in Dublin mit Parkplatz vor der Haustüre. Der Bus ins Zentrum ist in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hat viele gute Vorschläge für Restaurants und lohnende Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Die Privatsphäre wird gewahrt. Die Ausstattung ist gut und wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Es gibt genug Stauraum, um den Inhalt von jeweils zwei großen und kleinen Reisekoffern zu verstauen - das ist auch nötig, weil für leben aus dem Koffer wäre nicht genügend Platz vorhanden. Auf dem südseitigen Stiegenaufgang zur eigenen Eingangstüre stehen zwei Gartenstühle, wo man bei schönem Wetter eine Tasse Tee mit Blick auf den privaten Garten der Gastgeberin genießen kann.

Wie überall in Irland ist auch hier Feuchtigkeit ein wenig Thema - es kann also ein wenig muffig sein. Man kann aber gut querlüften, und es ist nicht weiter störend. Einzig das zur Verfügung gestellte WLAN könnte ein bisschen schneller sein. Ich habe mit verschiedenen Speedtests gemessen und bin auf eine Geschwindigkeit von 1-2 Mb/s gekommen - das ist nicht wirklich brauchbar. Der Fernseher hängt allerdings im Netz der Gastgeberin, und da ist Netflix-Schauen mit dem eigenen Account kein Problem.
