For such a convenient spot, the stay was enjoyable even if some features were basic.

Responsive host with great tour tips and restaurant suggestions. Instructions were clear, making check-in easy. The place was easy to find and in a great location. Half an hour bus ride to town. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe throughout our stay. The linens were clean.

The house could use some updates and the kitchen is small.

Unacceptable and we expect a refund. Not able to find alternative accommodation when we saw the state of the property so

beds and location

very poor cleanliness, dishwasher was not emptied, no toilet rolls in bathroom (they were in kitchen!) inside of oven, cooking trays and grill pan were filthy. Main bathroom was filthy, couldn’t use the mouldy filthy shower, flooring was disgusting, no plugs in basin, bath mat was disgusting, bath was cracked and a black piece of plastic mat was placed over broken waste outlet in bath. Soap containers were empty. Boiler for hot water and heating not operating correctly, owner informed. Gave excuses and no effort to resolve. Smoke alarms appeared to have had the batteries removed. The whole property seems to have been purchased for rental purposes and is in a state of ongoing works. gardens over grown and unkempt. external waste bins were full to the brim. we have many more photos of issues on request. The electric hob is situated right next to the sink, I believe this is not allowed under electrical regs. (dangerous not used)

A pleasant and very functional place for a short stay

A clean and bright small house. All the utilities worked well. Furniture was minimal, but looked new. Location was excellent for us, as it is close to relatives. For any family staying, the property is in a small, tidy development that seems well-established and secure. It was great to have parking, though don’t bring a wider car! Shay was good at communicating through email

I’d suggest a few more “home-like” touches, as the walls are mostly bare. The one book that was there was great, btw! The appliances in the kitchen looked great, but a couple of instruction sheets might help - we couldn’t get the moka coffee maker to work on the induction stove top. First world problems, I suppose!

This property was a convenient spot from which to explore Dublin; overall a thumbs up!

The house was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. We drove from the airport to the property in a rental car and used the bus to go to and from the city centre (3 day Leap Visitor Card). The bus stop was an 8 minute walk from the house and there was a convenience store/ fuel station located between the house and the bus stop. Using the bus saved us from driving to and parking in the city center. We could buy pretty much everything we needed at the store. The house is a perfect location for those who want a place to land after the city centre scene.

The house is a work in progress. It is clean and has two bedrooms with a bathroom. The house is missing some of the homey touches - lamp shades, art work, curtains, bathroom towel hooks, and ventilator fans.... The beds are most suitable for a close couple or small children. It is not possible to sleep on the sofa.

The location was nice a quiet, taxi was a bit expensive to get to city center and back but the cost of staying in the city center was also prohibitive. Well kept property and at the end of a cul-de-sac.

The beds were very uncomfortable, new mattresses or at least a good mattress pad would have helped. The bedsprings were very noticeable. Instructions on using the stovetop, the washer and the shower would have been very helpful. I binder is always nice to refer to when you are staying in a private property.

La ubicación

La limpieza deficiente de la cocina y la falta de mantenimiento general. Daba la sensación de que todo se podía desmontar o romper en cualquier momento. Por ser más concreta, el mueble de la nevera se desmontaba y alguna de las puertas de los armarios chocaban en el techo. Había también restos de comida de anteriores inquilinos que no es aprovechable (botes de mermelada abiertos y cosas similares). Vi que en alguna ocasión el dueño respondió a este tipo de comentario diciendo que cada uno es libre de usar o no lo que hay, pero creo que nadie podría comer algo que no sabe cuánto tiempo lleva abierto y sería mejor desecharlo para mayor comodidad y sensación de limpieza y orden. Sin embargo, la zona del salón estaba bastante bien y las habitaciones también. También tuvimos una falta de seguridad porque accedimos a las llaves sin ningún tipo de contraseña y no era posible cerrar la casa con llave, y una de las ventanas del salón estaba siempre abierta porque salía el cable de la antena a través de ella. En resumen, he pensado durante varios días porqué no soy capaz de dejar una reseña positiva como suelo hacer, pero además de lo comentado, son dos las razones básicas: el precio no me parece acorde a lo ofertado y el dueño apenas se comunicó con nosotros. Espero que este comentario le ayude a mejorar la experiencia de futuros inquilinos.

Hier war nur das Bett als gut zu bezeichnen und die saubere Toilette.

Hier ist Vieles in schlechtem Zustand. Küche ist schäbig, Möbelteile defekt und die Geräte nicht zumutbar, besonders der Toaster und der Backofen . Tür zum Garten war immer von außen zugänglich und nicht abschließbar. Im oberen rechten Zimmer nur ein Bett ohne Schrank. Hier muss man aus dem Koffer leben. Die dazugehörige Dusche ist sehr klein und Wasser läuft nach außen. Die Böden waren leider auch nicht sauber.

Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser la salle de bain avec douche car nous avons eu une grosse fuite dans la cuisine. L’eau tombait à grosses gouttes à travers le plafond déjà troué. Nous n’avons donc eu qu’une salle de bain alors qu’on a payé pour deux Il n’y a pas assez d’ustensiles de cuisine : plat pour le four, verres, casseroles Le système électrique est assez vétuste
