Wonderful Three Night Stay In The Glencourt Apartments.

We had a wonderful stay at the Glencourt Apartments. While the apartment itself was on the smaller side everything and more was there to satisfy our needs. The hosts Liam and Fiona certainly do not skimp on the heating, the apartment was so cozy for our entire stay. They also provided us with information on places to eat, where to shop (literally around the corner) and places to visit. We loved the location just a short stroll into Stoneybatter with ample pubs, restaurant's and takeaways enroute. We ate in the nearby Indian twice, the other night we brought back lovely pizza from a pizza cart accompanied of course by a couple of bottles of wine bought in the local off licence.

There was absolutely nothing that we disliked. We were not sure about the parking but a taxi driver assured us that we were fine parking on the road outside the apartment for free, which we did.

Nice place

The flat was spacious and it was really well located (near restaurants, pubs, markets and bus stations).

I had asked the owner if it was possible to have early check in. It was told to me that I would have the answer the day before. But this question was never answered in the end. So I think that communication could be better.

Real enjoyable stay in very luminous flat and well situated area. Welcoming hosts online.

The appartement is well situated close to Phoenix park which is a must do in Dublin, nice for a Sunday morning run! Many buses around to go to the center of town in about 15min. The area around has several nice restaurants and all needed shops. The flat was clean, the center room is wide and luminous, very enjoyable.

Being there for Halloween there was a bit of noise in the building in the night but I guess expected anywhere.... Only one toilet situated in the bathroom and sofa bed in the leaving room not as comfortable as real beds. But those were little remarks, we really enjoyed our stay and we are very likely to come back.

Wonderful stay at the Glencourt, loved the location, and we loved Ireland, and even more the people.

It was the perfect location to be out of center city but very close by. The apartment was very efficient, decorated beautifully, comfortable and we were very happy with everything, and also was grateful that Glencourt was able to provide a shuttle when we first arrived in Ireland.

A really bad and overpriced housing with unpleasant landlord. In the bedroom there is a loud water tank, which ensures that you can not sleep calmly. The bedroom and toilet have no windows, and the air extraction in the bathroom did not work. Mold in the bathroom, as well as loose wall tiles. The lighting in the bathroom, kitchen and living room did not work completely. There was an old, parked couch in the living room. The pictures on booking did not agree with reality. Many things were broken and the kitchen was poorly equipped. We informed the landlord of the defects. The feedback was that he will tell the workman and that the noise from the wanter tank is normal, an acceptable refund was denied. Except for the cobwebs on almost all the ceilings and the dirty floor, the cleanliness was to some extent.

It was a nice spot to start our time in Dublin.

Hosts arranged a driver to pick us up . This was very helpful and our driver was great. We had a question during our stay and our host Fiona was very responsive and the apartment was clean.

We would have hoped to have had hand soap in the kitchen and additional trash bags in the unit. There was construction going on in the building next door and the construction noise started at 7:15 am (after having missed one nights sleep on the way over).

An Ok stay in apartments that were convenient to the centre of Dublin and well priced.

The apartments - we had 2 were well appointed with cooker, sink, crockery etc. There was comfortable seating in each room

In Oscar Wilde the bed was a sofa bed and so the mattress did not come up to the head board - this was unwelcome. Solved by seeing with the sea at the bottom of the bed as a headboard. The builders on the next door site got going around 7 am - much earlier than we wanted. There was lot of rubbish in the street outside - we did think that there was a lot of rubbish elsewhere in Dublin

Great stay, loved Dublin.

Great location. Lots of buses to choose from getting downtown yet also walkable. Kitchen was perfect for our breakfast. Good variety of grocery and restaurants. Fiona was easy to contact. Dropped our bags before check in.

Perfect place for a nice stay in Dublin

The location was good, quiet considering we were in a big city. Walkable (long) to the sites we wanted to see in Dublin. Local grocery helped us saved a little $$$ on food.

Charming and spacious apartment for our family of 4. Was so clean on arrival and the owners gave us lots of details on things to do and places to eat. It’s also close to bus and tram routes making its location very convenient.

Location great. Right by all the buses and not far to walk. We felt safe in the area and there were many restaurants within walking distance. Very close to a grocery store.

Fantastic hosts!

Amazing hosts, super responsive with questions and messages, and also sent through great info on entry to the building and things to do or see. Also included tips around public transport and getting around the city, restaurants etc too. Make sure you read clearly about the bed configurations (I didn't) and the apartment we had, had both doubles in the same room (I would have presumed one was in the living area...)

Clearly messages were automated, after stating they could organise a driver to pick us up, which I requested, they advised they were not able to do this. I then subsequently got another 2 or 3 messages offering this service.

It was comfortable in all aspects apart from the washing machine bit

All very clean and comfy, very close to the city center by bus (bus stob 2 min walk), a supermarket 5 min walk, some restaurants and pubs also near by.

There is only one washing machine, but it's in the garden sharing with all rooms and the person who cleans the rooms, it was impossible to use it during the whole week we stayed, it was always full of bed linen and towels.

Comfortable bed and good location, very easy bus transportation!

We arrived around 12 oclock at the accomodation but I totally forgot it was not possible to leave our luggage there because it's not hotel. And check-in time was at 16:00. But I called the owner and it was okay to already but our luggage in the room although they didn't clean it yet so that came in very handy, we were very happy :) Also the bed was super comfortable, I slept like a baby!

The cleaners forgot to put 2 towels. So we only received 1 big towel and a small towel. But it was alright, I used the small towel and my friend the bigger towel. I could have called again for the towels but for me it was fine.

Its location was perfect, so close to the zoo. The kitchen had almost everything you might have at home. With two small children, it felt very safe.

The steps before the apartment door (inside), could be easy to forget about in the dim light.

Location was good and convenient..

Everything except below. Location, size of the apartment,

Keys where not in the lock box, we collected keys from the lock box, but the door would not open, then we realized that the correct keys were sitting on the shelf next to a lock box. When we looked for bed sheets for two sofas in the living room, we found them not exactly clean, likely not cleaned after previous occupants. We tried to wash them but washing machine was not working. We had to manage. There was insufficient amount of toilet paper, we had to buy.
