We stayed here 3 nights in february, the room was very warm, the location is great and there are many parking places to park in the area

Not along via etnea but very near so its loc is good. Right outside is a Metro stn which is one stop away from Catania Centrale.
Food is great, room is clean. They have a pantry with a microwave and some drinks. Overall great, would recommend and stay again
On the negative side, someone knocked on my door at 5am. I didn't open it of course. Door has no peepholes so i had no idea who was knocking. I asked front desk to check the cctv but they never got back to me. But after this incident they were more attentive.

The staff is nice and the room looked good at first. Unfortunately we had a few problems during our stay.
The AC kept shutting off after 10-20 minutes during most of our stay. Advised the staff who said they’d work on the problem but it was never fixed.
The curtains would have been effective blackout curtains had they actually reached the edges of the windows but they stopped about 5-6cm from the edges on both sides. Too bright to sleep at 6am…
And our shower leaked, not through the shower door as you might expect, but through the wall into the main room. And the shower itself is not very wide. The faucet handle is in a bad spot so that you hit it with pretty much any movement and either turn the water temperature hot/cold or entirely off. Really should have been put on the other wall where it wouldn’t be hit so easily.
Wifi was fairly slow too.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.
