Nothing it was excellent value for money. But pls note we had a Dog and so you need to inform them up front , property is dog friendly but I didn’t read the small print

Central location. Mattress and wifi are ok. Highlight of my stay in Catania: visit of Mt Etna. I booked directly few days before with Etna Tribe, I took their excursion Etna tour & Flavour, such a good deal for 47€. I recommend to book trips in advance as the good ones fill up fast during high season.

The B&B is said to be at the second floor but there are 4 different flights of stairs to go up so you should have a light carry on or you need to be quite fit to carry a regular suitcase up there. Even from the top floor with double windows I could hear the constant flow of traffic on the noisy 2 way street, day & night. I knew it was downtown but I did not know it was one of the main streets of Catania. The configuration is not common because the sidewalks are extremely narrow but the 2 way street is super busy so not great to be a pedestrian around. Noisy bathroom ventilation, I also could hear both my neighbors’ bathroom ventilations while they were using it.
