Contractor Friendly - Sleeps 7 - Fast WiFi - Near A50

We had a lovely stay at The Heron! The property was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, it was so helpful to have those little extras provided like washing liquid, sponges, shampoo and conditioner, which isn’t always something you think of but makes such a difference at a holiday home. There are plenty of great facilities, and the parking was absolutely fine with the arrangement in place. Location-wise it’s really convenient too, with a shop right across the road and superstores just a 5-minute drive away. The owners were also lovely and quick to respond to any queries. Ideal for our trip to Alton Towers!

Honestly very little! The only thing worth mentioning is that it’s on a fairly busy road, so if you’re not used to that, just be mindful of some noise. It didn’t bother us at all, but it may be worth considering for light sleepers.

We really liked the location, keyless access, cleanliness, and the availability of kitchen utensils. We also liked how easy it was to access the Wi-Fi.

We would recommend providing better-quality mattresses and a non-slip shower mat in the bathtub for health and safety. We weren’t really sure about the parking arrangements.
