Comfortable, clean beautiful rural setting on farm. Great for nature lovers,bird watching, walking.

Some rough country roads to get to the farm.

This is a lovely cottage in a very remote area (coordinates were provided to be able to find it with navigation). We were welcomed by the owner, who let us in and showed us how the hot water and heating system worked. Pleasant surprise was the woodstove, and the generous supply of wood. It was a bit chilly at night so we used the woodstove every day. And when we ran out of wood, the owner supplied us with more wood than we could burn. The kitchen had everything to make a stay comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, the bedroom as well, the mattresses were great. The decoration was tasteful if a bit sparse. Contrary to current information, there is wifi. Highly recommend.... but...

If you've booked thinking you'd get 2 bedrooms, you'd be mistaken. There is one bedroom, the other is located on the landing on top of the stairs. The person sleeping there will be disturbed if the persons in the bedroom need to use the restroom at night. The bed on the landing had no light or side table, it felt as if it was just placed there to claim it sleeps 3. It does, but there is no privacy for the 3rd person. That was a bit disappointing. As in most places, there was hardly any room to store toilettries. And if you sleep on the landing, your clothes. That's why it's not a perfect 10/10.

The remoteness, the quiet, the value for money, we liked it all!!

Nothing, was exactly as described and exactly what we wanted!!
