Friendly hosts went out of their way to help us with any issues and keep us in logs during a storm! The renovated barn was lovely and cosy with everything we needed.
Nothing really. Just a small thing was that there was no hand soap and it's not something people think to bring with them so, remember to bring handwash if you're staying!

super cosy cottage, we loved the log fire and the entire vibe of the place we felt so stress free! the location is amazing (if you’re not looking for a party holiday but you probably won’t be in Shropshire, it takes 2 hours to get a taxi) there’s a field right opposite so it’s perfect if you have a dog, the farmer (landlady’s son) was lovely and showed my sister and her friends around the farm, they were so excited so thank you for that! landlady also baked us a loaf cake for our arrival, it’s really the little things.
at first glance, the property looked clean. however, it was extremely dirty (nothing a bit of bleach we bought couldn’t fix) but there were dead bugs everywhere (obviously we understand a few it’s the country side after all!), months of dust build up, weird gooey thing in the side of one of the living room chairs, large cobwebs, it honestly was vile when we took a closer look at things like corners or where the decor is, something like this is completely fine for your own house but not for accommodation! that would definitely be our biggest and probably only complaint! also the washing machine is shared contrary to what ad indicates. honestly though, if you don’t mind doing a quick run around with some cleaning products (I know not ideal) it is 100% worth every minute!

Everything - especially Tom, who let Etta (aged 7) help feed the calves. Great little walks right in the doorstep for our dog. Roaring log fire making the cottage super cozy. The village church is also very pretty.
