Peaceful

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Nice and clean cabin, hot tub was great, log burner and central heating if needed. All amenties onsite

They've had a problem with the lake so no fishing. Hopefully can be sorted so this would be 10/10 if they can get it sorted

The location and setting was absolutely stunning!

The matress in one of the double rooms was so bad you just couldn't sleep on it. I think its just VERY old, creaky springs etc. Tried the sofa bed as an alternative and that was just grim. Also, the safety barriers around the sunken hot tub were all loose and not at all secure - they just came out!

Wonderful stay!

It was a lovely property with lovely views- hosts were also wonderful when we spoke to them as we’d run out of toilet paper they were more than happy to help.

Shower was running cold, however we spoke about this with the host and he said that he’ll have to call the plumber in eventually so hopefully that’ll be sorted for someone’s next stay. Pre warning lack of toaster but otherwise we had a lovely time

beautiful accommodation in quite location

beautiful property, set in a lovely quite location. The accommodation is set away from the other properties (only 4 lodges/units) right on the lake. The lodge was cosy and warm and we snuggled down to watch Xmas movies and sip Baileys which was perfect for a girly weekend. The hot tub was fabulous. we had dinner at the local pub which was about a miles away, we walked through the fields to get to it, so would suggest walking boots and touches, well worth the walk. as the food was lovely.

We were originally a party of 4 but a friend had to drop out, I do feel if there had been the 4 of us we would have struggled all sitting comfortably in the lounge area on the sofas.
