The location was perfect - not up any steep hills, easy to get to the city center. We loved the size of the apartment. The washing machine was super helpful for us. Being able to cook on site, rest in the living room, and have two bathrooms was wonderful. Everything was very comfortable for a week's stay, and we felt like we were staying at home.

The check-in process had a snag that made the experience a bit frustrating. After a 15-hour flight to Lisbon, we booked a transfer directly to the residence. The host contacted us via WhatsApp and told us the door code. We tried multiple times but couldn't get in, including video chatting, but the host wasn't sure how to get into the property. The host said they manage a variety of residences, but I think they need to know the nuances of how to get into each place. After trying a variety of ways, we eventually figured out we had to press the "key" button, then the door code, so it would be nice for the host to note that for future guests.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment was in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Lisbon, and it was clean and comfortable.

There were, however, a few issues that detracted from the experience. The check-in instructions could have been much clearer, and when we needed assistance, our calls weren’t answered or returned. The lift also broke down twice during our stay, which was terribly inconvenient as we were on the 4th floor and had to get our luggage down. This would have been difficult for someone who was not fit. Inside the apartment, there were a few missing essentials: there were no coffee pods provided, there was an iron but no ironing board (I asked and there was no response) one bathroom had no body wash in the dispenser, and another bathroom had no hand soap. With better communication and a little more attention to these details, this would be an excellent place to stay thanks to its great location and cleanliness.
