Nightmare-ish experience. Please avoid.
The apartment is equipped with a dish-washer, fully functioning kitchen and other amenities. Heating system works well.
The main issue is that - although on Google Maps the location is not entirely clear - the property is located right inside one of the most dangerous areas of Brussels: the Galérie Matonge, famous for drug trafficking and illicit activities.
During our stay, we were approached multiple times by drug dealers who stationed at the entrance of the Galérie. We were also threatened once, to the extend that we had to go to the local police to report the event.
Another time, we were caught in a full-scale police raid.
One of the entrances to the building was kept propped open and the building itself was not up to any safety standard: rats peaking, holes along walls, ceilings, pavements; an elevator that had seen better days, and stairs with unstable steps.
I am not even mentioning the key-lock located on a bike rack on a different street (!).
In the description, security equipment is mentioned, but there was no trace of that in the building.
To make things even worse, the bathroom lamp in the apartment broke at some point, and although an electrician was sent to fix the issue, we were left with a light bulb hanging from the ceiling because the owner had decided to leave it like that until our departure (3 weeks later...).
When we contacted Booking.com about the whole situation and requested a reimbursement or an immediate transfer to another property, they reimbursed only 10% ("out of good gesture") but said they couldn't do much more as it was not a matter falling under their domain (despite the fact that Booking.com is supposed to have Safety Guidelines owners shall comply with...), but suggested to avoid properties with review score lower than 8.5 (...).
Hence, in our opinion this property should be definitely avoided.

Posizione centrale, ma trovare l’appartamento è stato un vero rebus: solo dopo ore di ricerche siamo riusciti a individuarlo.
L’ingresso avviene tramite un mercato coperto; l’ascensore era fuori uso e l’ambiente presentava un odore sgradevole. Davanti alla porta dell’appartamento c’erano buche e il pavimento era coperto da plastica.
L’appartamento in sé è discreto, ma mancavano i cuscini e c’era un solo asciugamano a persona, per di più con un odore nauseante. L’acqua della doccia e del lavandino defluiva molto lentamente.
Prezzo assolutamente inadeguato rispetto al servizio offerto.

Appartamento non ben pulito e che necessita di manutenzione. Accesso all'appartanento mal illumunaro. Corridoio d'accesso fatiscente, sporco e pieno di roba accatastata.

L'intérieur du logement est tel que présenté dans l'offre. Internet satisfaisant.
La géolocalisation de l'appartement dans un quartier avec des vendeurs de stupéfiants, leur regroupement dans l'entrée de l'immeuble était insécurisant. Par mesure de précaution nous devions entrer tôt. Le réfrigérateur a cessé de fonctionner la première nuit et ça a pris 4 jours avant son remplacement.
