Sundown Palms

Quiet, spacious, lovely small touches. Loved the appliance quality and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of kitchen space and a washer dryer. Nice leafy trees and shrub views through the windows. A lot of nice design and fabric choices. This was just a really lovely space to wind down in. Appreciated the carport very much too as Auckland is so often wet.

Everything was perfect for us.

The location was great for the event we attended in Orewa, taking no more than 10mins to get there. There is also a small mall, plenty of eateries and a New World supermarket a short drive away - which was awesome. The property itself was very clean and tidy and loaded with all the appliances needed to make our stay comfortable - including the washing machine! I like gardens, so the tropical vibe plantings around the property were a pleasant sight to see.

The property is situated on the corner of the main road going through Whangaparoa, so a light sleeper will hear the early morning and evening commuters heading to work/home. The fold out spring bed was positioned close to the entryway at the back of the couch. I was tempted to move it to the otherside of the couch - maybe that was just a 'mama' thing, as my daughter was the one that slept on it.

It was absolutely sparkling clean. Everything you needed was there. The bed gave us both an excellent sleep. The shower was tops. We wash dishes and the water was beautifully hot. Access was simple and the location was ideal for what we were doing.

No guest check-list with check out time and helpful suggestions. Not a biggie.

No breakfast, however, unit very well set up and comfortable.

Unit was amazing, internet was patchy at best. Biggest problem, unit right next door to major road, pretty much noisy 27/7
