The location was just 5 min walk from Bonigen lake promenade and also just next to the bus stop which can easily take you to Interlaken OST. There was a bakery next to it as well, else everything is available a bus ride to reach interlaken OST. The place was better than we expected. It was cozy, neat and clean. The rooms were large, with all basic facilities. Everything was very well kept. A fan was also provided in both rooms which helped in EO may when Interlaken was unexpectedly hot for us. There were two huge rooms with a double bed and also a sofa bed which could easily accommodate another person, and one bathroom. The bathroom was also immaculate, had basic toiletries. The cutlery and kitchen accessories were clean and ready to use, which was a huge plus. One car parking was available for our flat included with the stay (without paying extra) We had also requested for the Interlaken Guest card for use of free public transport, which was provided once we checked-in.

The only thing to note is there is a short flight of stairs as this is on the 1st floor of a 2 storied house. We did not notice it as the time of booking, and it was ok for us. But people with mobility issues or with heavy luggage may think about it before booking. It’s just 10 steps, so not a big issue. We had also requested for an Interlaken e-guest card so that we could use it before check-in as well but they did not provide those at the time. Hope they switch to these e-cards soon :) Overall a great stay though !!!
