Quiet, comfortable and ideal as a base
The bed in the ‘snug’ wasn’t made up as I requested. Used one of the duvets from the twin room, so not really a problem. Parking was a big issue, workmen were parked up outside replacing the roof on the adjacent property. There was decent parking within a short walk.

The location was excellent as was the interior of the property and was equipped with everything e needed. The outdoor patio was spectacular though.
Although it wasn’t a problem for us I can see that parking may be an issue for some as you might have to park some distance away especially if your group has more than one car or you have mobility issues.

Winster is a charming village. Chimney cottage is one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed at. The road is narrow but ok for my SUV to navigate. So quiet and peaceful. Great local pub, so friendly. Would visit again.
Nothing really, but could do with an aerial for normal tv.
