Queens Retreat, Stylish 3 Bed Home, Sleeps 6, ideal for Groups & Families, Parking x2, Prime location

It was spacious for two couples. Parking was included with permits. Garden area. Close and within walking distant to Lincoln centre.

The rooms downstairs felt quite dark. Better lighting would have brightened the reception rooms. Some of the kitchen equipment could have been better. The kettle needed replacing as heavily covered in limescale so we did not use. Plus some of the mugs were stained. There were milk sachets provided but most were out of date. Far too many plug in air fresheners. The only full length mirror was in the smallest bedroom up right next to the bed making it difficult to actually use. The hot water in the shower was so hot you couldn’t really stand under it. I did feel the amount of messages was excessive. Essentially saying the same thing re rules and check out etc. the fact that we had already paid in full at the time of booking, the message insisting on a credit card for a further £250 holding deposit before agreeing to send you the key code, I didn’t really like. This wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking. That said we did enjoy our stay. Hopefully just constructive points to take on board to improve your offering.

Very clean, great location with amazing view! Beds are comfortable, staff get back to you within 5 minutes!

The location was great and the common at the back of the house was amazing, plenty of space in and out of the house, the bathrooms and bedrooms were lovely.

Found the gate at the rear hard to open, the step to the gate was uneven and loose. The outside wasn't as clean as the inside just needs the patio hosing down and the table and chairs cleaning, also the kettle needs descaling..

the only thing i would change is the smaller double room could do with either a small clothing rail or set or drawers as literally just a bed in there nothing else so wasn’t ideal for my elderly father
