San Simeon Suite

We stayed for two nights in the apartment and found it comfortable, clean and more than spacious enough for the two of us. The location was excellent, just a 5–10 minute walk from St Mark's Basilica, with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafés nearby. The bathroom was compact but spotless and well maintained, with a particularly good shower. We didn't use the kitchen during our stay, but it was clean, well equipped and looked more than adequate for self-catering. Overall, it was a great base for exploring Venice and we would happily stay here again.

If I had to mention one thing, it would be the check-in process. Check-in takes place at the parent hotel rather than at the apartment itself. This wasn't a problem for us as we arrived by train, but some travellers may find it less convenient. After checking in, the apartment is about a 15-minute vaporetto (water bus) ride away, with the nearest stop being back towards the station, so there is a little backtracking involved. That said, Venice is a city where walking and using water transport are part of the experience, so this was only a minor inconvenience. The staff were friendly and really helpful We would definitely stay here again

Nicely appointed apartment overlooking the promenade that runs in front of Doge's Palace. Beautiful view of the ocean and San Giorgio Maggiore. Easy access to vaporetti. Staff at hotel for check in were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the cookies!

Hotel for check in is located close to the train station but quite a distance from the apartment. May be confusing for first time visitors to navigate walking to the apartment or going back to the train station to take the vaporetti. Remember to pack light!

Posso definirlo un rifugio intimo e raffinato perchè l'atmosfera, i colori e tutto l'arredamento è complice di questo appartamento piccolo, intimo e con tutti i confort. Si respira un atmosfera calda e raccolta. Bisogna dire che è posizionato sulla Riva vicino alla fermata del vaporetto quindi comodo da raggiungere e a 5 minuti a piedi dai Giardini della Biennale e l'Arsenale ma con altri 10 minuti abbiamo potuto raggiungere il Palazzo Ducale in Piazza San Marco. L'appartamento è stato appena ristrutturato e nella zona giorno è disponibile una cucina compatta con un piano cottura ad induzione, curata in ogni dettaglio con un tavolo rotondo utile per la colazione e le cene. Tutto l'arredamento, dalle pareti che riproducono affreschi, allo scrittoio, ai comodini, agli specchi, richiamano Venezia nonostante il confort moderno che l'appartamento offre. Un angolo di Venezia inaspettato.

It’s in the center of Venice and walkable

The entrance going inside was dangerous, twice my hands caught the door and the stairway was very tiny and narrow! Not good with someone with knee problem! And not easy if you’re carrying something heavy! And cook top not working! If we have knows we just book in a real hotel
