Very close to St. Mark's Square - very convenient for waterbuses - yet a quiet location

The location was excellent. Clean but basic room.

The photograph of the apartment on Booking.com was not the apartment we had. This was disappointing and misleading. The apartment was much smaller than we had expected. The apartment lacked any atmosphere in that there were no pictures of Venice, nothing to make it feel like we were in Venice. Also on the Booking.com description stated that there were bathrobes and there were none.

I come to Venice every other year for the Biennale. I stayed in hotels and apartments, and I'm careful in choosing a place to stay. This apartment was wonderful. Its location is excellent, it was clean and they supplied clean towels, soaps and shampoos, etc. similar to the hotels. There are nice restaurants, a coffee shop, and a local supermarket in the immediate neighborhood -- just a few minutes away. The host responded very fast to my questions and requests. Everything was easy to stay in this apartment, except that they didn't have a working washing machine, which was mentioned in the description -- one of the reasons I chose this place because of this amenity. But I still think it is a better place than some other outdated hotels within similar price range. I will stay here again!

I stayed almost 2 weeks and I packed with an understanding that the apartment had a washing machine-- it is stated in the description. However, the washing machine was not working. So I had to do washing almost daily. Given the hefty price I paid, I felt frustrated that they had this misleading information in the description. I chose this place also because it promised to have a washing machine, but it didn't.
