City centre apartment 2

The location was excellent and easy to access. It was cool which was lovely with the heat wave.

Only that a little dusty

Good central location. Short walk to the castle, Bute park & the national museum. You can even get a boat taxi from Bute park to the Bay which my 10yr old loved. A Wetherspoon is just couple doors down, perfect for breakfast etc if you don’t want to cook. Beds were comfortable. Towels available. Clean and tidy apartment.Wi-Fi was an extra bonus. My son was delighted 😁

Only it was a little confusing to find starting off. The flat is in a building called The grand, which I’m assuming was an old hotel converted that has been converted into flats

Excellent communication prior to arriving , very good value for a one night stay , situated near to both stadiums , and next to a Wetherspoon , working lift, nice hot powerful shower

Initially hard to find as building is called the grand and no detail of this with the booking. We found the sofa bed very uncomfortable and was glad it was for only one night

Good price and close to city centre

Rubbish piled in entrance with lots of flies. Communal area very unpleasant. Stains on all carpet and smells strongly of damp. Apartment itself moderately clean but before we could let our 5 year old loose, we had to pick up coins/earrings/small scraps of rubbish of the floor. We then let him loose in his white socks which were black within minutes. Storage under sofa bed where bedding kept was dirty full of crumbs which stuck to bedding. We found a fake eyelash in with cutlery. Also whole apartment seems to be on a slant like one side is sinking. Also 50% of the floor creaks loudly. Nearest free parking is 15-20 mins walk away. Double yellows outside building makes it hard to unload luggage.
