City centre apartment 2

It was centrally located. It was convenient and comfortable. The staff were also polite

The window lock was broken and the sink was hard to use. The cleanliness of the building(not the apartment, I mean the way to the apartment) was dirty and full of stains

The apartment was very basic. Some cable tv channels. Paid parking is nearby. Some nice pubs and restaurants on the same street. Owner was helpful when we needed it. There is anM elebator, but the entry has steps.

Hard to tell which building it was in. Best if the apartment building was named in the directions.

It said free parking both on the website advert and also in the welcome information. This is not correct. There is no free parking. The welcome info states free parking along cathedral road which is over half a mile away and is all resident permit only parking. The car park a few metres away is an extortionate £32 per night parking fee. The welcome info also states you can unload your bags directly outside the property - this is not correct. Right at the bottom of the steps into the building is a sign that’s says ‘no stopping’. The double bed was dreadfully uncomfortable. You can feel every spring in it. I did not get any sleep. Not what you need whatever your reason for being in Cardiff. The lights on the living room and kitchen are extremely bright and very harsh - hurt your eyes bright. Not conducive to evening lighting. The entrance hall and staircase is extremely grotty. Steps from the street up to the entrance and the lift are steep - no mention of this on the website advert and they were unsuitable for my elderly mother. Had she been just slightly less able to climb steep stairs she would not have been able to get into the building.
