Pleasant house in a convenient location for the City

The bedrooms were all a good size and pleasantly furnished, although I didn't realise until we got there that the one with the ensuite is on the second floor. The kitchen/diner is well laid out with plenty of room for eating and relaxing in as well as cooking. The heating system was easy to operate and the house was warm, which was good as the weather wasn't the best for our visit. The house is easily walkable to both the city centre and bay area, although some of the areas you walk through to get to them aren't the nicest. The toiletries provided were really nice, I particularly liked the rosemary shampoo.

Finding the property was a bit tricky as the address given is not one road but a number of cul de sacs so you had to search for the house numbers to find it. The living room is poorly arranged and lacks the attractiveness of the other rooms. Four people would be hard pushed to sit in it comfortably, let alone six if the house was at full occupation. The kitchen utensils and crockery provided were quite basic and not very clean - I washed everything before using them. I was only cooking breakfasts - I would have struggled to cook a main meal with what was provided. I found the correspondence with the owner to be very impersonal and the processes around having to provide (and then get back) the security deposit unnecessarily onerous.

Great place with very convenient location

Very convenient place for a group of people to stay. Lots of room, a well equipped kitchen and extra space in the lounge and outside. Location is also fab, halfway between City Centre and the Bay so it's very easy to walk to either.

On the run up there was just a bit too many pre-checks for me. Sorting deposits incase of damage, signing forms, logging in for key box code... It just felt a bit long in the tooth for a simple stay.

Well looked after home walking distance to Cardiff city centre

Great property, we all said we’d happily stay there again.

I do have to note the inflated price because of Oasis in Cardiff that weekend, it was galling when we saw how much less the property normally goes for haha, however this was a city-wide situation due to demand so not an issue with the property specifically and we still think the property was priced a bit more reasonably for what you get compared to others we looked at.

The location is excellent and the house is spacious and comfortable.

For us, being over sixty, a support handle to help us get out of the bath would have been helpful, as it is slightly higher than standard. Preventing accidents is always important, at any age.

Great location, great potential but slightly disappointed

The property is in a great location, walking distance to both the city centre and the bay. The house was spacious and well set out as a holiday let. Perfect for friends, families or couples.

It was very dusty, floors needed to be mopped, mirrors needed a wipe down - just needed a good clean. The bathroom was the same, the shower screen seal was green, the screen needed to be cleaned and the shower head holder fell apart in my hands when moved down closer to my head. We just expected better unfortunately.

Beautiful house for family stay

A well maintained property with beautiful X'mas decor. We particularly like the kitchen area, cosy and with all we need for mingling and gathering.

The heating was not working well on the 3/F and in one room on the 2/F.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the house. There is a discrepancy with check-in and check-out times. On booking it says check-in 3pm and check-out 11am however on the automated messages through booking.com it say check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am. It would be helpful to decide which it is. Having said that we were told we could check in at 3pm which was great.

It was very clean, spacious and comfortable had all the amenities you could want the location was very good for the town and Cardiff bay. Mim was very helpful in getting the house ready for us as we were arriving early and made contact numerous times to make sure everything was okay

A very comfortable lovely house with a great location.

This was a lovely clean house with lots of thought into what a family away from home needs. The bed I slept in was really comfortable and I had no complaints from anyone else. Some places we've stayed at have been hard work....this house just felt right and we were all at ease straight away.

The kitchen got very warm with the patio windows...a blind to block the sun during the daytime when out would keep the temperature down...however opening all windows when we got home did help cool the house down and the living room was cooler so it wasn't a big issue.

lovely welcoming house, highly recommend.

immaculate house with plenty of parking space and just a short walk from the city centre. they provided everything you would need, towels, soaps, tea and coffee. the furniture is nice and the rooms are spacious with soft comfortable beds, the kitchen/ dining area is lovely and open making it very sociable. highly recommend.

No lawn just yet (Mar 23) but there is a patio at the back and large sliding doors.

Es war alles top. Zwei kleine Anmerkungen: eine Garderobe bzw Haken für Jacken wären praktisch. Außerdem ein paar mehr kleine Löffel.
