Amazing apartment

Super Spacious, great location in cardiff central, walking distance to everywhere, duplex apartment ground floor easy access with 2 spacious bathrooms. Public carpark just 3 minutes walk, behind the Holiday Inn. Surprisingly the best unit I ever had during this UK trip.

Almost nothing. But the upstairs bathroom lock seriously need to be fixed. I was locked inside, lucky manage to get out myself.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Host was very quick to answer any queries.

IDs and deposit had to be sent before information was provided. Completely understandable though given the location and the risk of people taking advantage and causing issues with parties, etc.

Fabulous apartment in a very central location

Great location, and a very impressive apartment. Sound proofing in the bedrooms meant a good night's sleep, even in the city centre on a weekend. Responsive contact with the host. All round fabulous. We'll be back.

Wonderful location. Apartment is immaculate and modern. Comfy beds, lots of space and clean. Easy access to all of Cardiff centre.

Good for one night stay

Very centrally located!

Noisy doors slamming from neighbours, gives you a bear attack the first time you hear it! Was a bit apprehensive about giving photo ids and security deposit. Felt very on edge about making noise/having fun as a group of 5 friends. Blinds missing downstairs, radiator hanging off wall.

Superb location and fantastic place to stop in the centre of Cardiff

The blinds are missing a couple of slats so people walking past can see in the room, so the downstairs bed wasn't used. This is just an easy fix for a brilliant place.

Very central modern comfortable apartment. Missing a few comfort touches to make it memorable.

Location was extremely central, more so that we were expecting. The apartment was on the street, spacious, modern and comfortable with lots of features.

The heating was on high for the middle of summer, which was odd. The WiFi was not connected to the internet, which was not much of a problem as we were only there for one night. No complimentary tea/coffee/shower gel was provided. only three towels were provided for 5 guests.

The front room noise kept my mother awake most of the night. We thought it was ideal for her with the downstairs bathroom and a wonderful comfy bed. However, the noise spoilt it .

Wouldn't stay here again!

Location is good and apartment is spacious and clean.

Contact with the host is very difficult as the contact number is India. Deposit of £125 still has not been returned. It is clear stated that the deposit should be returned 14 days after checkout, however I am being told it is 14 days after they receive my bank details - this is not acceptable! Please advise why you have still not returned by deposit?

Perfect central city location - with no frills attached!

Central location in Cardiff - near to castle/city shops/restaurants/Millenium Stadium - superb.

Bathrooms not clean: bath smelt so badly of bleach that we couldn't use it. Showers etc absolutely fine but upstairs en-suite had nowhere to place contact lens/toothbrush etc Bedroom 2 had broken wardrobe and the replacement hanging rail was unstable/not fit for purpose. Irritated that there was absolutely nothing in the way of 'breakfast': no tea/coffee/milk - just a solitary dish-washer tablet!

Disappointing

The location of the apartment was perfect for our visit, especially as we had an event at the nearby stadium.

However, several aspects of the stay were disappointing. We were asked to send over ID documents on the day of travel, which added unnecessary stress, and collecting the keys from a separate location—not the apartment itself—was inconvenient. Just 30 minutes before our scheduled check-in, we were informed that the cleaner hadn’t been and likely wouldn’t be before our arrival. Although we were given a £10 refund for this, it set a negative tone. On arrival, we found a broken blind slat, which reduced privacy—an issue since the apartment is on a main road. Additionally, only three towels were provided for a party of four (despite all IDs being sent in advance), and we had to share towels. Later that evening, we discovered one of the duvet covers was dirty with visible stains, which made it unusable. I messaged the owner via WhatsApp, including photos, but unfortunately, the message was read and ignored.

The property was clean and centrally located. It was very good value for money.

Just a couple of minor faults. A broken slat on the downstairs blind meant it didn’t offer privacy to the bedroom downstairs. A blocked sink in downstairs bathroom.

Amazing

Excellent price and location if you're going to the principality stadium. We had booked tickets to see the Wales vs. Ireland game and didn't think we'd be able to go as every other hotel or apartment had tripled or quadrupled in price. I felt like I had struck gold when I found this apartment. It was almost too good to be true. Lovely clean and spacious apartment. It was a nice surprise as the apartment looked better than the photos provided.

Very spacious pictures don’t do it justice.Two bedrooms upstairs one with en-suite, large bathroom and bed downstairs. The location was amazing - opposite principality stadium close to everything! Communication was easy with owners

Location was good. Property was clean

Brand new tv did not work.No internet connection at all. Spoke to owner who said the internet and tv did work. Shower worked but not powerful and wall bracket broken.

It was ok for 1 night stay

It was clean and ok for the one night we stayed

THe lift we were told by a resident that hasnt worked for a very long time, and I had to climb 3 floors and having a very bad knee problem was a grerat difficulty Advertised as a two bedroom when in actual fact there was a chest of drawers and a double bed in the kitchen dining area. Making 3 double beds A missinglever from the tap. No smaller towels to dry hair on. No radio or TV. The double bed in the en suite was dipping in the middle so you rolled together. Laminate flooring needs replacing it was starting to lift in the dining table area. The curtins need more hooks on and they were very difficult to close. Smoke alarm in the bedroom left in a drawer. ITS A GREAT SHAME COS ITS A VERY LOVELY QUIET AREA AND CONVINIENT TO MOST THINGS.

We had an amazing time coming to Cardiff to watch Pete Doherty at the tramshed. Finding this gorgeous apartment SO close to the city centre (just off a side street!) It's honestly a shame we weren't there too much!

Location was great, property had space for up to six people although there were only three of us. 2 bathrooms. Well equipped.

Not much really. Shower head in ensuite was very high and not adjustable. Couldn't get oven to work, no instructions, but we were only there for one night so didn't bother contacting host.

The apartment itself was nice but the anxiety caused by other issues connected ruined it.

The Millenium Apartment itself was nicely laid out and presented. It was comfortable and with the exception of a TV set most things for a short stay have been thought of and provided. It was a shame that the shower in the ensuite bathroom was attached to/came out of the wall and you couldn't take the head out to direct the water where you wanted it. But the other shower was able to do this so it wasn't too bad. It is in a good location for shops, restaurants, pubs and very near to the Spar where the keys are held and have to be returned to. They returned the damage holding deposit promptly and upon just one request for it which I was impressed with after reading some of the previous reviews on Booking.com.

I was very concerned that less than 24 hours before picking the keys up and past the cancellation notice period I received an email part of which stated: "Please note we have installed a noise monitor in the apartment. It does not record speech, only decibel levels. Any guests who are drunk or causing any problems in or around the building will be required to leave on the spot without refund and deposit will be forfeited." Firstly this should have been on the booking.com site so I was aware of this prior to booking not suddenly be notified when it was too late to cancel if I didn't agree to this paragraph. Secondly, I have been told by a legal expert that in doing this the Millenium Apartment could be seen to be in breach of contract. Thirdly, There is no definition of what constitues being drunk.. Would they deem someone who has just had a couple of beers as drunk or would they deem someone who can bearly stand as being drunk. This therefore, wrongly gives them the right to throw people out for the smallest amount of alcohol being consumed. The friend I went with and myself both deem the recording of decibel levels as an infringement upon our rights. But at such short notice we had no option but to very reluctantly go along with it. Could this be why they leave it until the last minute and well after the cancellation period to notify people? As someone who has hearing problems I am always being told I speak too loudly. This meant the entire time I was there I was on edge as I knew the volume was being recorded. Having spoken to Booking.com they argue that the fact they state no Parties covers the Decibel recording which it doesn't legally. Neither the apartment nor booking .com seem bothered that my friend and I did not enjoy our week and they refuse to even issue an apology. Instead hiding behind poorly worded small print that doesn't even cover the issues I raised.

A fantastic break away with friends and family

It was very spacious with a great view of the stadium and all the amenities you need. it’s in the town centre so close to the shopping, bars and restaurants.

It said there was parking and it’s not until you click on more details that it says it’s public parking (so find a car park) although they were very helpful with info on where to find them.
