Amazing comfortable place to stay for a group. Rooms very private with large communal rooms.

All bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. Very large living with brilliant seating arrangement.

WiFi doesn't reach the living room as router is based in the far away bedroom. Had to hotspot out phone on the smart TV.

Disappointing stay

I always like to give a full review of anywhere I stay as I find them helpful. There were both good and bad points to our stay. Here is the positive. The location of this property is good, only 10mins walk to grangetown train station and there is a bus stop a few mins walk away. We walked into the city centre a couple of times and that only took about 20mins. I was sent the check in details the day before our stay and it was very easy to gain entrance. The apartment is a good size and there are decent facilities. It does need a little TLC as everything is a bit tired looking but functional. The apartment seemed to be in a nice area from what we experienced and it was quiet at night. The price was very reasonable for Cardiff during the Easter holidays.

Unfortunately now I have to highlight the negative parts of our. I did message the owners before writing this review so they were aware of the issues we had but so far I haven't had a reply. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was that we hadn't been left any toilet paper. However this was rectified on our second day of our stay. The apartment in general also could have been a bit cleaner, for example there was dirty cutlery in the drawers and various items that I assume had been left behind by previous guests. The WiFi didn't work for the whole of our stay so I needed to use my mobile phone to hot spot WiFi. The beds are quite uncomfortable and the pillows very lumpy but it wasn't until the morning we were leaving that we realised the terrible condition the pillows, duvets and mattresses were in. In the guest handbook you are asked to strip the beds before leaving which we did. I have included photos of the condition of the bedding and mattresses. To say I was shocked is an understatement. We come to Cardiff quite often to visit family but needless to say we will not be staying here again!

Bedding looked tired and not ironed. Dirty linen in wardrobe. Not enough seating for five adults in the lounge. Would not class it as a luxury apartment!! Apartment needs some TLC.

Eine gut gelegene, hübsche, großzügige Wohnung mit kleinen Mängeln

Man konnte bequem ins Zentrum laufen. Daher war die Lage für uns ideal. Die Wohnung war für eine vierköpfige Familie angenehm groß über zwei Etagen mit einem kleinen Doppelbett unter dem Dach. Die beiden weiteren Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem kleinen Doppelbett waren im ersten Stock und somit war die Wohnung schön hell. Das Wohnzimmer und das dort befindliche Sofa war groß genug und bequem, so dass man sich gut dort aufhalten konnte. Als wir ankamen stand ausreichend Kaffee, Tee, Salz und Toilettenpapier zu Verfügung. Die Einrichtung war hübsch.

Für zwei Leute sind alle drei Doppelbetten leider zu schmal und zu unbequem. Die Wohnung war frisch gereinigt worden, allerdings wäre an vielen Stellen eine deutlich gründlichere Reinigung notwendig. Teppichboden ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Die Töpfe hatten leider keine Deckel. Für vier Personen gab es leider nicht ausreichend Besteck, sondern beispielsweise nur drei Gabeln. Auch hatten wir am kleinen Küchentisch nur drei Klappstühle statt vier. Ein zweites Küchenhandtuch wäre von Vorteil. Das Bücherregal in einem Schlafzimmer droht von der Wand zu brechen und wird notdürftig von einer kleinen Box gestützt. Das Licht am Rasierspiegel funktioniert nicht.
