The property itself is modern, close proximity to the train station and town centre. They provided all necessary equipment, cutlery and crockery. Dominique (host) was very friendly and accommodating. She asked if we needed any help and was very responsive whenever I had queries.
The shower head holder was quite loose so you have to hold the shower head instead of keeping in a preferred position.

All bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. Very large living with brilliant seating arrangement.
WiFi doesn't reach the living room as router is based in the far away bedroom. Had to hotspot out phone on the smart TV.

I always like to give a full review of anywhere I stay as I find them helpful. There were both good and bad points to our stay. Here is the positive. The location of this property is good, only 10mins walk to grangetown train station and there is a bus stop a few mins walk away. We walked into the city centre a couple of times and that only took about 20mins. I was sent the check in details the day before our stay and it was very easy to gain entrance. The apartment is a good size and there are decent facilities. It does need a little TLC as everything is a bit tired looking but functional. The apartment seemed to be in a nice area from what we experienced and it was quiet at night. The price was very reasonable for Cardiff during the Easter holidays.
Unfortunately now I have to highlight the negative parts of our. I did message the owners before writing this review so they were aware of the issues we had but so far I haven't had a reply. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was that we hadn't been left any toilet paper. However this was rectified on our second day of our stay. The apartment in general also could have been a bit cleaner, for example there was dirty cutlery in the drawers and various items that I assume had been left behind by previous guests. The WiFi didn't work for the whole of our stay so I needed to use my mobile phone to hot spot WiFi. The beds are quite uncomfortable and the pillows very lumpy but it wasn't until the morning we were leaving that we realised the terrible condition the pillows, duvets and mattresses were in. In the guest handbook you are asked to strip the beds before leaving which we did. I have included photos of the condition of the bedding and mattresses. To say I was shocked is an understatement. We come to Cardiff quite often to visit family but needless to say we will not be staying here again!
