Perfect location.
Perfect location, lovely village. Warm, clean & cosy on a small quiet site.
Needs an outside light and some hooks for hanging towels. No blind at the bathroom window. More info on what to do when you arrive.

It was a lovely caravan with good facilities. Clean and good supply of tea, coffee, biscuits, and a couple of toiletries.
The bin under the cupboard in the kitchen had not been emptied from previous occupant. More importantly, there was no direction sign or not even an entrance sign to the very small caravan park. No indication of where the caravans were or how to get into them. Just a sign up saying Punchbowl caravan park would have been so helpful.

Lovely
Lovely caravan. Had everytjing needed plus shampoo conditioner which was nice touch. Had tv with sky sports Netflix and Disney. Lovely clean. Had all amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful when wecouldn’t work out how to use oven. Lovely pub on site although kitchen shut at 7pm we drives at 8pm. Luckily we had food with us. Nice area was a stop for us enroute back from Scotland
Hairdryer would have been handy and switches to turn oven on where behind a chopping board so would be handy to store chopping board somewhere else as we missed the switches.

Lovely stay at the punchbowl. We stayed Monday to Wednesday. Beautiful little place. Staff are very friendly. Lots of games, dvds and books in the cabin if you needed entertainment for a rainy day. Food at the pub was delicious and just a very short away from the cabin, which is ideal after traveling for hours.
It can't be helped, as it is on site at the back of a pub, but something to consider is people walking back from the pub after a few drinks. Cabin walls aren't very thick so you can hear it quite loudly. Not a huge issue though, and it didn't spoil it for us at all. Also pub deliveries in a morning and it backs onto a farm, which is also quite loud in the morning.

Hidden gem in the north lakes
Really spacious, clean and beautiful park home. This place is a real find. Great for an overnight stay or a 2 week holiday. We loved it. Fabulous pub, staff went out of their way to make us welcome . Askam is a beautiful peaceful area, just wish we could have stayed longer
My partner could smell what we think was the septic tank. I have no sense of smell so I didn't notice it!
