Lowther Cottage is a cosy, peaceful retreat on the historic Lowther Estate, offering a warm living space with a log burner—perfect after exploring the Lake District. Beautiful year-round, it’s especially atmospheric in autumn and winter, with quiet walks and fireside evenings. Dog-friendly with nearby countryside walks. If you bring a furry friend we charge an extra £15 per night for additional cleaning to make sure the cottage is immaculate for other guests.
