The house owner was unreachable no communation and we did not get information about the key locks passcode. He got to the apartment and no idea how where to get the key. When he reached out he said previous guest went with the key and he is organizing with the cleaning lady to get us spare keys . No further updates till two hours and half later i asked him for a refund thats when he sent clear pictures of where the key was. We ended up booking another hotel because we were literally in the cold stranded.very unproffesinal

The flat could have been a lot cleaner as I was staying there it felt like I was staying in someone’s home as they had all there stuff there there was washing in the machine the oven was extremely filthy the fridge smelled bad also there food was in the cupboard and electric kept going there was a weird smell from the flat and I didn’t like the way the owner spoke to me when I complained she wanted me to leave either get a new cleaner or put her/him for a cleaning test or atleast have a word with her/him

I was turned away by host on arrival after she had told me that the booking was cancelled by herself.
She did not provide me with a reason why or any explaination as to why she had decided at very last minute to completely ruin my evening and mess up all my plans.
But now i see that she never did cancel my booking and therefore is still attempting to take my money from me from the cost of the overnight stay .
I dont think ive ever met this person before unless she thinks im someone else because i only know i never deserved to be treated with so much disarrspect or met with so mucb rudeness upon arrival

The bed was broken, had slates missing at the bottom so was abit uneasy to sleep on.

Easy for ferry to Isle of Wight.
Bit further to the Mayflower Theatre.
Place was smelly. People must have smoked in it before we came.
Bed was not flat and smelt funny in places.
Food left in freezer, looks like it has been there for months.
Couch lounge was dirty.
Owner cut off the electricity supply claiming we had used too much, when we were there only at nights. Says it is metered per quests, which is not part of terms and conditions, so not having power (although for about half hour after we contacted the owner) was in breach of contract.
Owner also charges you twice for the rent. One payment is pending, but it has been pending on my card for over 10 days so it means the equivalent of rent cannot be accessed on my account. Charging twice (even if one payment is pending) is still a breach of contract, as it was not part of terms and conditions. Hopefully, the pending payment is released soon, but it has taken so long to date.
It is definitely not plush!

If I'm honest, I can't list many things that we liked.
Only thing which was ok was the bedroom, it was small and cosy but the bed was uncomfortable and had a thin duvet on.
Before we were due to arrive, the host had sent pics of where and how we needed to get into the accommodation which was helpful.
It wasn't cleaned properly. There were marks on walls and dust along the skirting boards. The floor hadn't been cleaned properly and some hairs were on the toilet.
There was also old food in the freezer, packets of cereal which had been opened and used and other food items which had been used.
The cupboards seemed to be broken, and the shower was leaking.
It is false advertising calling it a 'Plush Maisonette', this is misleading.

Booked this for my colleague in June. He ended up at the Travelodge within an hour of checking in to this place.
The photos aren't as advertised. The place was filthy, food left in the fridge and freezer. Looks like someone was living in the bedroom, clothes everywhere, stained bed and sofa bed.
I sent photos to the host and the excuse was someone was living there for a few months and they hadn't returned to collect their belongings.
I have contacted booking.com and have requested a refund, haven't received it to date.
I am shocked this place is still available for bookings.

Sticking dirty, toilet seat broken , window no latch on it , no towels or soaps settee full of stains could not sit on it let alone sleep on it, shower dripping bathroom floor full of water there a leak from something, food from owner left in freezer and cupboard, clothes left there floor in flat sticky and dirty , project hanging from ceiling, nothing has been safety checked, avoid avoid

Radio silence from the property up to and past check in time. Didn't respond to multiple requests from us and booking.com for check in information. Booking.com were fantastic in arranging alternate accommodation.

Nothing, I didn’t like anything because the host lied, denied everything I’d reported to them, then accused me of being unprofessional when all I spoke was the truth!
The moment we walked into the accommodation, all we could smell was cigarette smoke, my son even made a comment about the smell. Supposed to be ‘non smoking throughout’, clearly it was NOT. I am asthmatic and could not be in that environment nor was I going to let my children stay there either.
I asked for photos of bathroom and bedroom weeks prior to arrival and only got them on the day of arrival so unable to cancel and get a refund, I have a physical disability and couldn’t sleep upstairs but the host said there was a sofa bed on the listing, then told me on the day of arrival when we were travelling down to Southampton there was no bedding. So inaccurate information on the booking.com page.
The photos I’ve included are showing what my son and I found. We were only in the accommodation 15 minutes because the place was filthy, unhygienic and a health and safety hazard.
The mattress was heavily stained with what looked like urine and other bodily fluids, the host was condescending and said urine smells and blood is red, but we didn’t get close enough to want to smell the mattress, why would we when the stains spoke volumes!
In the kitchen there was a Mouldy oven tray, which we were supposed to cook a meal with as had ‘full use of the accommodation and a kitchen’ but mould is a health hazard.
The bathroom was filthy, the shower was mouldy and had been recently used as there was water on the screen and floor and no attempt to dry it so it looked presentable. The toilet seat was very wobbly and unsafe for me to sit on.
There was NO air conditioning. This was one of the reasons I booked but there was a filthy ceiling fan and a window that was thrown open for ventilation. The windows didn’t have any window restrictors on them and due to being on the 3rd floor, this is a massive health and safety issue! I’ve reported this to Trading Standards as the accommodation is not safe.

Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und hat eine gemütliche kleine Sitzecke. Es ist relativ gut eingerichtet. Es muss mal eine schöne Wohnung gewesen sein..
Viele Sachen waren kaputt. Es gab keine Klimaanlage nur einen kaputten Kühlturm und einen staubigen Deckenventilator. Der große TV ist ein kaputter Beamer. Gardinen kaputt, Schimmel in der Duschkabine und tropfender Duschkopf. Fleckige Handtücher. Fußboden irgendwie klebrig. Sehr warm, die Heizung war auf Max und konnte nicht ausgestellt werden. Ich hatte 3 Personen angemeldet, Betten waren nur bezogen für 2. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht schließen.
