Steve and his family were SO welcoming. From booking through to Steve taking us to the airport, our stay was exceptional. After a phenomenal nights sleep in their ever so comfy beds, it was a delight to start our day with one of Steve's breakfasts and good morning from Ruby & Bear. The location is perfect for country walks, jumping into the town centre or quick access to the airport.

Truly nothing. From their excellent communication to the well stocked snack and drink station in the room, they excelled at every aspect of our stay.

Cheerful hosts and clean, comfy place to rest

Beautiful home with comfortable room and beds. I especially enjoyed the kettle for tea in the room. Truly lovely hosts that made me feel welcomed and safe. Breakfast was delicious and I would 100% stay again.

A little farther from city center than I thought but bus transport was easy to access.

Very nice hosts offering a warm and comfortable stay

The property was very convenient for where I was going. It was easy to find. The hosts were very helpful and nice. I walked to a nearby pub for dinner. Breakfast was good. My room was comfortable and well thought out. Internet good too!

The owners went beyond themselves to make us feel home and guarantee a perfect stay. Thank you once again! Inspiring introduction to the area and things to see and do. Healthy good breakfast. Bus and train in walking distance safe a lot of parking trouble in Edinburgh. Short drive to the airport.

I had an absolutely amazing time staying at Steve and Heather's lovely home. I immediately felt comfortable and like home. The variety at breakfast was super nice as well.

Lovely

Steve and Heather are two amazing hosts. The room was welcoming, cozy, comfortable and clean. They welcomed us and were very nice and kind. Breakfast was deliciously home-made. They were also very kind and helpful with directions and recommendations on what to do in Edinburgh. Absolutely recommended. Hope to come back soon!

Our host went above and beyond—gracious, kind, and always ready to help, they truly made our stay unforgettable!

Very close proximity to the train and bus. Owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, they ensured that we had enough information to get around the city and even had some suggestions for things to do within walking distance.

Personally, we loved the property. The only suggestion would be to advertise that they have two extremely friendly hypoallergenic dogs, as some people may have an aversion to the pups.

Home away from home with open-minded hosts and with sufficient privacy if needed

Warm welcome by Steve. Possibiliy to park the bicycle in the garden Room and bathroom are in upper floor and are at the disposal of the guest only, so the privacy is ensured. Very quiet, view from room to garden area Good breakfast with Steven permanently present to respond to the further wishes of the guest. Pleasant conversation with Steve and Heather as they are well-travelled one open-minded. Not far from airport as I had a flight the next day.

No bell to wring when arriving, but the dogs soon appear from inside to announce the guest. Mattress of bed a little bit too soft for my taste.

Wonderful stay near Edinburgh!

We had such a lovely time here. The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met — warm, welcoming, and truly caring. The house is beautifully maintained, and the location is peaceful yet close to Edinburgh. We felt right at home and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Buena estancia en hogar acogedor.

Es un buen alojamiento, toda la familia es muy agradable y preocupados de ayudar y orientarte en que lugares visitar. La pieza es cómoda y la casa calentita. Steve prepara un rico desayuno, y siempre está pendiente de lo que te gusta comer y el horario en que necesitas desayunar. En cuanto a la ubicación, si bien no está cerca del centro histórico, está muy cerca de buses y la estación de tren para desplazarse a lugares turísticos. La casa está en un sector tranquilo si necesitas llegar tarde. Además te ofrecen el servicio de transporte al aeropuerto, que se encuentra a solo 15 minutos en auto, lo cual fue perfecto para mí.

Un très bon endroit idéal pour séjourner à Edimbourg

Accueil très sympathique et nous avons eu de bons conseils pour aller manger à pied à côté.La maison est aussi proche de l'aéroport , c'est très pratique.Les lits sont de très bonne qualité, le jardin très agréable (avec 2 chiens très mignons) et c'est vraiment calme,nous recommandons !
