Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Warmly greeted upon arrival and good price point for a last minute booking in Edinburgh. The breakfast was included tasty and plentiful. Free parking.

The wife didn’t like the frosted bathroom door, it wasn’t flush to the frame and she felt uncomfortable. Stains on carpet and walls, stylish room just a bit tired and needed a deep clean/refinish. Wi-Fi was difficult to use, even the staff struggled to get me connected. The tv was limited and had no cast option.

The most expensive hostel stay I’ve ever had

The room was clean, giant bathroom, panoramic windows and a scenic view

The room was large and tidy, but for €500 a night, I expected much more. The basic amenities were lacking: the shower had no water pressure, there was no complimentary water or Nespresso machine, and the TV system was very poor. The hotel also lacked standard facilities like a gym, pool, or even proper room service and a restaurant. The breakfast was served in a small area near the reception and was extremely humble. Overall, it felt more like an expensive hostel stay than a hotel.

A peaceful stay.

The rooms were quite spacious. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The property is situated in a very calm and peaceful area. Good stay overall.

The breakfast spread could probably have been better with a few more items. Found the lighting in the room to be a bit dull.

The staff was so... helpful and friendly.

The furniture and carpets had stains all over them. So much so that I didn't sit on it. Also, in the lounge area... really dirty stains. I know people are nasty but come on.

Room spotlessly clean with ever convenience provided. Good hospitality tray, refrigerator nice towels and lovely toiletries. Huge comfy bed. Good selection of food in restaurant. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with a wide choice of cereals, bread and croissants, hot food, yogurt and fruit

Great, convenient and easy transport link

Knew location was a short bus journey as stayed here on numerous occasions. Breakfast good the free parking is brilliant as it is hard to get hotel in central Edinburgh with parking. We normally use this hotel 2/3 times a year never disappoints. Staff are so warm, welcoming and friendly 😊

The price was alittle higher than we usually pay when we stay.

Nice Hotel, Good Location and Parking. Very Poor Restaurant Staff

Modern and clean rooms. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Had to book at short notice so paid a premium price, including extra for breakfast. No dining option locally so had to dine in hotel for dinner and breakfast. Staff in the restaurant are atrocious. More interested in standing around in a group talking about relationships. Not interested in the slightest in paying customers or their needs. Particularly poor at breakfast. Tables not cleared, dirty dishes in the buffet area, cups, plates and food not replenished. No sign of any front of house supervision or management. I have stayed in many Marriot properties throughout the world but this was by far my worst experience. Will not stay again.
