Spacious house, well equipped, good-sized rooms and comfy beds. Had booked it to go to the NEC, only a few miles away and easy drive to get to the north car parks.
Generally pretty clean though quite basic finish.
Was good value for money splitting the cost between 3 of us.
Road was busier than expected with quite a lot of road noise overnight in the front bedrooms. Plane noise from 6am. It was quieter in the back bedroom. Had to reverse off the drive with extreme caution due to busy road and poor visibility from parked cars. Main door into the house kept sticking and required a shove to open and close.
Bedroom doors squeak.
Lounge could do with more than 1 sofa, 3 of us were a bit squashed, there wouldn't have been enough seating if the house was full (sleeps 5).
There was a foul smell from the kitchen drain and no plug for the kitchen sink.
Shower water pressure was hit and miss.

Host was very responsive & helpful with a heating issue we experienced during our stay. Great venue for families or small groups looking for a reasonably priced stay near the NEC or airport
Noise due to close proximity to the airport although appreciate this is out of the hosts control due to location.
Property was not as clean as we would have liked- there was some dust and dirt lingering on walls, pictures, lights & some kitchen appliances but otherwise the property was generally clean.

Beds were comfortable and good train service locally for Birmingham
The garden was not usable or safe as a lot of rubbish and broken concrete plus loose bricks. There were also broken/loose parts in the kitchen and bathroom. The shower was difficult to regulate. Do not think it was safe to have back door locked in kitchen for fire safety
