The beds where uncomfortable and the mattresses were poor, the sofa beds , well if that's what you want to call them , one broke when it was sat on the other was in a conservatory and was freezing The kitchen was badly equipped

Awful.

Glad we were only using it for sleeping

The property is advertised as a 3 bedroom house. Only 2 bedrooms have beds in. The sofa beds are advertised as doubles - one is in the conservatory and not a double. There is only one old pillow per bed. The exterior of the house was not inviting. The heating did not work. We checked in at 3pm, the cleaner arrived over an hour later. We had to chase check-in details, I then received these via email the following morning.

Not great !

The location was great for the NEC.

The facilities were basic, limited glasses and mugs, there were pots on the drainer when we arrived and the washer was full of un washed washing. I appreciate the property is self catering and you would expect to take some supplies but there was no toilet roll at on when we arrived. The property requested a £200 cash deposit before they would release any entry details. I reluctantly transferred the money late morning but was having to chase them for the entry details at 6.30pm. It states you will receive your deposit back 10 days after departure. I was having to chase this and had to wait 3 weeks for it - not ideal! 4 of us stayed 1 night. It was just OK. I wouldn't stay here again.

Dirty kitchen, pans and freezer and broken sofa.

Location and bed.

Well first of all the dish washer was full of everything from the house and dirty. There was dirty pans in the oven, I mean dripping with fat. The freezer was disgusting. All the glasses had to be re washed before using. The sofa was broke. Heating was turned off on the boiler luckily I know how to work it. Some radiators turned off in the house and the hive didn't work. I couldn't cook the food id brought for the morning because off the mess and I didnt feel its was uo to a clean standard to eat from.

Not exactly as advertised.....

Handy location for an overnight for an airport stay. Off road parking and a short walk to local shops.

This 'stunning' property is in need of some desperate TLC. Internally the house is nice but there are some major issues that need looking at. The Sofa arm has been broken and not fixed properly so is half held on with a rusty screw, the stair carpet is badly stained (not a real issue other than the worry that you may be accused of creating damage), the Garden was overgrown and untended and had we wanted to use it would not have been able to but the most significant issue are the beds. The master bed is not fit for purpose. There's absolutely no way anyone could have slept on the broken and misshapen box base and the mattress has definitely seen better days. We slept on the floor which was less than ideal but the only way to get some comfort. I also assume that maybe the house hadn't been rented out very recently because whilst it was generally clean all surfaces were very dusty. This could be a lovely stop over if some time is invested in making it the 'stunning" property its listed as but we definitely wouldn't stay again unless some care is added.

Nice place and location but let down slightly by lack of kitchen utensils

The kitchen facilities/equipment was fine. However, no wine glasses and only one breakfast tumbler. No cooking knives and few utensils. No tea towels

Convenient and clean comfy stay

Nothing… it was a short stay as had very late flight in Easy to find and self check in Host was great at letting me check in at 1am Great sleep comfy beds and nice area Just as I required I was then up early to catch a train
