Hotel Rooms St Paul

This was like a student accomodation block with self contained rooms with private bathroom, kitchenette and balcony. Clean and comfortable, it was located right next to one of Plovdivs famous hills, a short walk from the station and a 15 minute walk from the lovely city centre. The lift was fine and the area seemed safe - there were alot of students and a few old people coming and going. The best thing is the cheap restaurant on the ground floor which looked to be catering for the local university students.

For some reason, the pipe draining the kitchen sink come loose on first use so the water dropped straight into the undersink cupboard! Very strange! I'm sure it wouldve been repired if I'd reported it but with the cheap resrtaurant downstairs and my short stay, I just left it out of use. I had the bathroom sink afterall. The only other downside was the occassional late night noise from the students from the neighbouring units but that was to be expected.

Quedaba un poco retirado del Centro Historico, mucho taxi o caminar demasiado

Está lejos del centro y es un sitio tranquilo. Alguien pensará que incluso peligroso, pero yo fui y volví del centro andando de noche y no tuve la menor inquietud. Y el colchón: grueso, nuevo y cómodo.

Es un apartamento turístico, de los que quitan viviendas, encarecen los alquileres y expulsan a los residentes. Me avergüenzo de haber contribuido a ello. No es ni de lejos tan grande como parece en las fotos, es muy pequeño Las paredes son ridículas, se oía perfectamente la conversaciones de la habitación contigua. La nevera hacía bastante ruido cuando arrancaba el motor, si eres de sueño ligero será un problema. El baño no tiene mampara de ducha -algo absurdamente normal en Bulgaria- y se salpica todo al ducharse. El retrete queda muy pegado a la puerta de entrada, si eres alto puede ser un problema. Y toda la puerta es un espejo, para que "disfrutes" de la versión menos glamurosa de ti. El horno tenía los restos del anterior huésped. Envié una foto y dijeron que lo limpiarían al día siguiente aunque insistí en que no era necesario, que no pensaba usarlo, pero insistieron... y no vinieron. Por lo demás, no hay microondas pero sí vitrocerámica, aunque no hay nada con lo que cocinar: ni cazos, ni sartenes, ni ollas, ni cubiertos de cocina... No tiene sentido. En general, un apartamento diminuto pensado para turistas o estudiantes de la ¿Universidad? que se ve abajo y que te cruzas en las escaleras. Un abuso, en cualquier caso. Y no hay ningún personal presente para atenderte.
