Room looks better in picture but in reality it’s not the same but strictly ok ok.

I’ve stayed in shared accommodations many times, so my expectations are realistic. This property was overall quite average. When I entered the house, there was a noticeable cigarette smoke smell, which immediately affected the first impression. The kitchen was clean and well-maintained, but the room itself did not live up to the pictures. While it looked nice online, in reality it was very basic and only okay in terms of cleanliness. The towels and bedding were clean, which I appreciated, but overall hygiene in the room felt average and not particularly fresh. The bathroom was quite outdated. Other residents’ toiletries were left there, and there were no common toiletries provided, which felt odd. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and the toilet did not have a washbasin, so you had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Locking the door was also slightly problematic, and the place could be noisy. Regarding access, I was provided with the entry code and everything initially worked fine. However, the key was tied to the code box. As the instructions mentioned that a key could be taken for entry and exit, I asked if I could have a separate key instead of using the code every time. Unfortunately, this question was never replied to. It appeared that the preference was to keep the key tied to the code box. On the second day, I actually had trouble opening the door and had to be let in by someone else, which was inconvenient and not very reassuring. Although the property was technically safe, with people frequently coming in and out, I didn’t feel very comfortable staying there with a child. Overall, it was an okay stay, but not as clean, comfortable, or smooth as expected from the pictures and instructions.
