The double bed was super comfy, the luxury toiletries smelt amazing and the location was great. The countryside view from the room was stunning, we saw a deer and rabbits in the field! I loved the small touches like the cool kettle and West Country teas. There was a lovely Italian restaurant for dinner a 3 minute drive away which was perfect for our anniversary dinner. We will be back and staying longer next time!

Good directions to the property and instructions
Unfortunately on arrival at the property there was an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom this dissippated once the rooms were aired. The second night on our return the smell was even worse. As it was past nine pm we didn't report it until Sunday morning. Once the problem was highlighted we were immediately moved to another room. Which was fine.
We were left a box of chocolates and a card apologising for the issues with Rose room.
