Rockleaze Guesthouse

The hosts Colleen and Terry were lovely. Very clean, immaculate. Comfy bed, kettle, WiFi what else do you need. Also proper toilet roll unlike the rubbish those 5* hotels provide.

Breakfast was not included, but we knew that beforehand. Location was further from the O2 than expected but manageable.

Everything was good.

Clean and comfortable rooms with an excellent little dining area. Location is brilliant for anyone on work trips. Loads of public transport options close by to get into and out of the city centre. Most importantly a friendly welcome at the door and all your needs catered to.

Nothing to complain about

Guest house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The dining room again was presented. A little croissant is left for you on arrival.

I filtered the search on booking.com for a self catering place to stay and chose Rockleaze as it was advertised under this heading however guests have access only to a shared microwave and a mini fridge which is located in a shared dining room. You are advised to leave your rubbish and dishes on the dining table for the owners to collect when they are passing. I appreciate it is summer but my bedroom was cold at night and the duvet was quite thin. Traffic outside of the bedroom at the front of the house was pretty noisy but other rooms may be quieter. The owners park their large car on the drive which sadly makes it very difficult to park your car. I was told to park my car around the back on a main road! Again I specifically selected a guest home with free parking. I sadly shan’t be stopping here again.
