They offered a very nice continental breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and there was easy parking. The owner was cheerful and very nice. It is a lovely old building, totally seperate from the Resturant next door. The beds were firm and comfortable and we both slept very well.

The TV didn't work, we tried three times and it was like the TV had a very slow internet connection. I changed the network to two other available networks and it made no difference. As the TV was an android TV nad had no aerial, this rendered the TV useless. The internet for my laptop had a full signal, which was good, but made the TV situation even more odd. A cooked breakfast wan't available which we prefer. The coffee making options were disapointing too, hard to fill the kettle and the coffee the packets produced were pretty awful. I'm sure with a bit more effort it could be very nice, the owner just needs to live in the room for a couple of nights to see what is lacking, it is a bit spartan.

The character and tranquility of the building. The continental style buffet breakfast was varied and interesting. Parking was free and convenient, with multiple spaces. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also the convenience of an attached Indian restaurant of good quality.

Could do better on refreshing room facilities ie , tea, coffee and bathroom supplies on a daily basis, rather than needing to request this to be done.

You feel like you took a wrong turn when going to the property but keep going post code gets you to correct location. Best night's sleep on my whole trip to UK over 8 days in different locations. Beds and pillows are so comfortable. The continental breakfast was Fabulous with a great selection. Its a really old building so some creaky floors but it adds to the character of the building . The food in restaurant next door Langley Spice was fantastic.

Continental breakfast was reasonable but not offering fresh coffee and fresh croissants was a disappointment.

It was exceptional and extremely hot weather on the night In question there was no fan in the room and my request revealed that none were available. This was not helped by the fact that the openable windows were small for the size of room. So cleanliness and comfortable beds were good points, the oppressive heat was a problem and apart from only having instant coffee and processed croissants the breakfast was adequate.
