The Base Vegan Retreat Animal Sanctuary

We had the most wonderful stay at The Base Vegan Retreat. It truly lives up to its name! It's a beautiful, peaceful escape where you can completely unwind and reconnect with nature. One of our favourite parts was waking up to all the lovely animals and the turkeys joining us on the decking for our morning coffee. Seeing the ducks, bunnies, guinea pigs, and turkeys wandering around made the experience so special. The place is very well equipped and had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable. The spa session was absolutely perfect. Relaxing in the hot tub and sauna was just what we needed, and it left us feeling completely refreshed and recharged. Everything about our stay was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully put together. We left feeling so relaxed and already can't wait to come back. We would highly recommend The Base Vegan Retreat to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway!

Loved staying at the retreat. Never been to Bristol before but would definitely go back. The Animals in the retreat was a highlight and getting to feed them.

Exceeded our expectations on every front. Spending time with the animal crew was fab ,of course ,and we chose a totally immersive experience (sitting out with them and feeding them) The cabin is an unforgettable mixture of cosy and chic -so well designed !We appreciated the little touches like the oatly sachets and brownies .The beautiful spa area was all prepped ready for us and was absolutely gorgeous. And the hosts are genuine ,lovely folk.
