Just a short drive away, Bamburgh Beach offers stunning views of the castle. For a memorable day out, take a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands. A visit to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is recommended. Elwick Farm runs down to Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and is in the Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This stunning area, stretching 100 miles from Berwick to the south, is a designated haven for wildlife and an important nesting and breeding site. A footpath leads from the property to the shore and a wildlife observation hut, just a 15-minute walk away offering stunning views of Holy Island. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking along the Northumberland Coast Path. History lovers will appreciate Bamburgh Castle, or take a trip to Alnwick Castle, famous for its Harry Potter connections.
